“We are a kaleidoscope of complicated intricacies. A million different facets of light and darkness.” K.M.Keeton.

The most seductive thing about art is the personality of the artist himself.

Walking along life's path.
Finding new places seeing
into the world.
Looking into the forest as
if it were conquerable.
Walking along life's path.
Seeing truth and life in this world.
Nature itself being unconquerable.
Walking along life's path.
Seeking to see the true design in our world.
Knowing only life is conquerable.
Walking along life's path.
Perceiving each day
with righteous clarity.
Living each moment
in purposed reality.
Believing each day
is the start of eternity.”
S. Tarr.
Healing trough art.

I did my first kaleidoscope while I was in a Hospital, the days my mother was there. When she was sleeping I was playing with my photographs and software to do something new and different. Since then I continue to do so and wonder what will come out from a simple picture.

“If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loud.”

In this place there is a secret,
everything is echoed back in perfect reflection.
Beauty seen all around,
everything created with detailed perfection.
This view into a special place, was found through the use of photographic selection.
Echoed in the minds eye and carefully displayed as art for your desired election.
“Creative work is a gift to the world and every being in it. Don’t cheat us of your contribution. Give us what you’ve got.” – Steven Pressfield.
If while wandering in the woods,
you came across the portal.
Would you get close?,
would you dare?,
to look into it with
a long deep stare.
This one lives forever,
so it seems and even darkness
is swallowed by the empty soul
of this wooded immortal.
I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way - things I had no words for. Share this Quote Georgia O'Keeffe.
My creation.
Great Owl wise and blue.
watching, watching
over me and you.
How can something
linked to the wise,
be in need of such
big eye's,
for it isn't sight that
brings wisdom through,
but knowledge of all things
that are true.
Lilly's, mirrored, inverted, saturated with extra fisheye filters for extra wide eye's.
An artist is a dreamer consenting to dream of the actual world. Share this Quote

My art.
In my mind
daydreams and haze.
Seeing into
another's gaze.
Searching for
the inner maze.
With eyes that see
not the craze.
Look with eyes that
have no glaze.
Uncover the sight
that art sets ablaze.
Photograph taken of left over metal coil that covers and protects wires in lighting systems. No alterations to photograph other than mirrored only.
Secret places,
I like to find.
The ones hidden
between your
world and mine.
Magical in every way.
Places where
fairies would
dance and play.
Beautiful doorways
such as this.
If I walked across
would it open to
my bliss.
Is the troll hiding underneath,
or the Dragon flying above
with large sharp teeth.
Why, when we grow up?,
do we stop seeing.
Is magic only for children
who's daydreams
are fleeting?
As the fall sun drifts
in and out and the
cool breeze finds
its way in.
Warm coco and colorfully
quilted blankets bring
the memories in.
Family's and loved ones,
laughing as the
stories begin.
Winter Holidays and cuddling
by the fire, count me in.
Created by photographing fall leaves through the car window, adding drama and HDR filters and mirroring
“Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.”
― Roy T. Bennett.
Curling up in the cold of winter
is how we pass our days.
Wrapping up in the blankets for
warmth is all the craze.
The leaves however are
blanketed in the snow,
with little warmth to speak of
when the wind dose blow.
Curling instead the tips
of there being,
as the cold seeps in,
that here is what we are seeing.
Take not the warmth for granted,
as the weather outside is not enchanted.
Walking down my path one day,
I found the end of the road.
The hot cement just disappeared
into the grass as it began
to unfold.
What is this beauty, unforeseen.
My walk has lead me
to a place so clean
As I put one foot in
front of the other,
I saw the new path begin.
Now I am on a different road.
Elegant Elemental's
surround us everywhere.
We walk by so often
without even a care.
Elegant elemental's
surround us everywhere.
Perhaps an artistic peek
at the world around you,
will cause you to stare.
To stare,
at the
elegant elemental's
everywhere.

Even in winter the mind
seeks to find,
warmer places
to unwind.
The butterfly surfaces,
but can not fly,
daydreaming of the
deep blue sky.
It is far to unkind to
have to wait,
but soon summer
will be here,
as is the
seasons fate.
Reflecting in the water.
The tree's branch out.
Spanning across the
ripples, in a fancy route.
Looking into the reflected blue,
the bare fall tree's pout.
In the water beyond the reflection,
are their leaves,
no doubt.
Come spring the tree's will reflect again
with green leaves all about.
Photograph of water with the tree's reflection's, mirrored,
Puppy in the garden,
bouncing all about.
Playful little puppy,
popping up and out.
Playing in the garden,
with that cute little pout.
Puppy made of Lilly's
makes me smile as it
prances all about.
Dancing in the wind,
with a barking shout.
Smelling the beautiful flowers,
sniffing it up with its snout.
Puppy in the garden,
bouncing all about.
Many fence themselves
into places they do not
want others in.
Keeping out unwanted
influence and providing
themselves with false security.
On the other side of the fence
is a presence, waiting, wanting in.
It sees all, knows all and is
waiting for human maturity.
Waiting for when we do not
fence ourselves in.
The stairway, shines,
so sleek and high.
Once at the top,
the doors are
slightly ajar.
Whispering, calling,
from way up in the sky.
Any one can climb these
steps with ease no matter
whom you are.
Young and old near and far
any one can go when their
time comes nigh
Seeking the light and
reaching for that star.
Simply cast away the dark
and gloomy ties.
When you seek you'll find
the doors will open for all,
there is no set bar.
Photograph of Curved, glass staircase with blocked and cubed ceilings.
Deep inside the grassland worlds
are the little things we dream of.
Looking out into the universe it seems
the inhabitants of this place can see
more than time and space.
Large and small alike no matter where we are,
the grasslands people can see into this world.
Deep into the tiniest of things and even,
perhaps, into our thoughts.
Perhaps they are the time weavers spoken
of in the story's of old.
Writing for us a place in there world,
as they watch the story unfold.
So many thoughts come together,
dreaming in colors and light.
Waiting, watching for the story to
change as day becomes night.
What will the little creatures
unknown foretell,
of the lands that are sown.
Deep are the seeds,
tall are the tree's and every days
new dreams are grown.
Deep inside the grassland worlds
are the little things we dream of.

Strolling along across the land.
A few marbles in my hand.
Looking for that glittering glass in the sand.
Green, blue and red to complete the strand.
Finding my marbles is grand.
Strolling across the sand.
Finding marbles is in demand.
Dig a little deeper into the sand.
Careful now, think like Ayn Rand.
Finding my marbles across the land.

Photograph of marbles and tea lights in a glass jar. Mirrored and adjusted in a paint filter called Deep Art Effects, re mirrored and inverted colors on half the picture.
This is a photograph of the green lush grass as it grew back after the Meridian fire in Grayling MI. The color of the fresh green grass against the burnt out landscapes was a pleasant site. Some HDR filtering added to help bring out the green color we enjoyed seeing the day I took this.
