I loved the symmetry of the glass, the stairs leading up to them and the walkways at either side.

It was very busy the day I took this photo so I had to wait ages for a small gap when noone was in the shot (and I have had to crop out a couple of heads).

These scarecrows were having some effect but not a lot. Their colour and form was a great contrast to the colours of the shutters and the building. The hunched-up pigeon on the lower ledge seemed oblivious to the anti -pigeon spikes.

The early morning light gave a wonderful wash of colour to the building.
