Der Kiebitz (Vanellus vanellus) ist ein charakteristischer Wiesenvogel mit auffälligem schwarz-weißem Gefieder, einer metallisch glänzenden Oberseite und einer markanten Federhaube. Besonders bekannt ist er für seine akrobatischen Balzflüge im Frühjahr, bei denen er mit lauten „kiewitt“-Rufen durch die Luft segelt – daher auch sein Name. Kiebitze brüten bevorzugt auf offenen, feuchten Wiesen oder Äckern und legen ihre Eier in einfache Bodenmulden. Leider ist der Bestand dieser Art in vielen Regionen stark zurückgegangen, vor allem durch Lebensraumverlust und intensive Landwirtschaft. Der Kiebitz steht unter Schutz und gilt als Symbolart für den Erhalt traditioneller Kulturlandschaften.
The Northern Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) is a distinctive wader bird, easily recognized by its black-and-white plumage, iridescent greenish upperparts, and prominent crest. It is especially known for its spectacular courtship flights in spring, accompanied by its characteristic “pee-wit” call – which also gives the bird its name in some languages. Lapwings prefer open, moist meadows and farmlands for breeding, laying their eggs in simple ground scrapes. Unfortunately, their populations have declined sharply in many areas due to habitat loss and modern agriculture. The lapwing is a protected species and a flagship for the conservation of traditional farmland ecosystems.

(2019) All Seeing Ai / 愛
Hanging out at a Starbucks and listened to a Youtube clip about 5G and the foreseeable future of AI, ended up doodling an alternate design of the all seeing eye, encasing in a heart and all seeing with love.
Added some electricity also for a funny meme in Taiwan, “let’s generate electricity with love!” (用愛發電!❤️⚡️)
Funny thing is after I was done, I found out that I unwittingly left a print of the art on the coffee table, thus took some pictures to share here. Sorry, Starbucks.
Let’s hope when singularity comes, it comes with love. (Ai / 愛）❤️
