I tried bouncing the flash off the ceiling for a few photos. With rats having such reflective eyes, it gives quite a different effect (direct flash always results in two pinpoints in the eyes).

This isn't a fantastic picture but it's cool because I captured it with existing light at ISO 800, f/4, 1/25s handheld with my new 24-105 L image stabilized lens on my new Canon 6D. My old 10D was almost too noisy to use at ISO 800 and handheld at 1/25s would show motion blurring.

This is my sons dog. He is a male dog. His name is Sylvester and he is a Dwarf Pincher. He is almost two years now.

This set is shot outside our house a sunny afternoon in February, the outside temperature was minus 3C.

Sylvester is the bottom photo. The roll bar was later removed. Interesting trivia: the Bay Area Roadsters club, still in existence, used Sylvester for the car on their club plaques.
