My neighbor's elderly parents who recently passed away used to have cats, and since my neighbor is a fire man, he is gone for several days at a time and although he leaves food for the cats, the nocturnal animals like skunks, possums and raccoons eat the cat food, so when we noticed that the cats were looking for food, we started putting out cat food for them, so when our neighbor is not home, the cats wait for us at the front porch so we can feed them, we would love to adopt them and make them indoor cats, but our bulldog Dutchess would not appreciate it and would make their life miserable since for the last 5 years she has been trying to catch them when they go in our back yard. There are several cats, but this one, which I have named Sylvester and a yellow one, which I have named Puss in Boots, are always on our front porch relaxing on the cushioned bench or on the front steps.

Los padres de mi vecino, que recientemente perecieron tenian varios gatos, y como mi vecino es bombero, esta fuera de casa por varios dias seguidos. Aunque les deja comida a los gatos, los animales nocturnos como zorrillos o tacuaches se comen la comida. Cuando notamos que los gatos buscaban que comer, decidimos darles comida de gato, y ahora cuando mi vecino no esta en casa, los gatos nos esperan a que llegemos a casa para que les demos de comer. Quisieramos adoptar a estos gatos, pero mi perra Dutchess, no estaria muy contenta con eso ya que tiene eternidades tratando de cazarlos cuando andan en el patio trasero. Hay varios gatos, pero este gato, al que lo he llamado "negrito" y uno amarillo al que le llamo "gato con botas" son los que mas nos buscan y les encanta acostarse en los colchones de una banca o en los escalones de el frente de la casa.
