Day 1 - Autumn Roid Week 2021

roid week #4

Narrowboat 'Aitch' passing down Sandon Lock on the Trent and Mersey Canal. At this point the C17th. turnpike, the C18th canal, the C19th railway line and the C20th A51 main road all pass through a 1/2 mile wide gap between two ridges of low hills on the main route from Lichfield and the South towards Cheshire and great cities of Manchester and Liverpool in the Northwest of England. Work has just commenced in building yet another major link through this gap, HS2 high speed train line.Taken with an SX-70 Alpha 1 on Polaroid B+W (TIP) film. 'RoidWeek Spring 2022. Day 3 photo 1

I have been slow to realise that the Polaroid Originals 600 film can be used with the SX70 and a ND filter. Excited to try with a pack of round frame, I didn't fit the filter properly and the first couple of shots suffered for it. Still, this one reminded me of the predicable unpredictability and perfect imperfections of polaroid that I love so much. So I thought I'd post in that spirit.
