It’s ‘National love your pet’ day!!! He hears the sliding door go (in the vivarium) and he comes out to greet me. Special boy Azizi. Photographed in his warm and cosy vivarium.
Whilst this was a 2016 image, I recently revisited the images of my puppy (Legend) and decided to share.
Baker has had a busy week chasing the little bunnies in our yard. They are much quicker than he is and can slip under our gates in a flash. He goes out and makes all kinds of noise and I allow the baying for a bit, as those dang bunnies are eating my garden. I am hoping they get the message soon. I hope everyone has a great week.
Sam is our regular guest dog and a real eye catcher.
He is al very sweet boy and has great manners.

This face with the muddy chin, eye goop, matted ears that need to be brushed is just too cute. He still steals socks from the laundry, hides under the bed, and loves to play keep away, but he is a sweet boy. Dexter is now three, and we can't quite imagine life without him and his cohort Rory who is also 3 ( I took a photo of him last week).
Heading in to camp this young buck was grazing with a doe along the edge of the road. As I approached they moved towards high cover. I stopped long enough to grab a few frames from the jeep and this guy turned to give me one last look before high tailing in the opposite direction.
Baker being patient with me, as I almost forgot to get a photo today. He is eagerly waiting for his after dinner Greenie.
Like most kitties, our Frodo just loves his cat naps! On the sofa, on his cat perch, the windowsill perch, my sister's bed, or the big chair in her room. And probably more places we don't even know about.

my birthday was a few days ago..in which i wasnt feeling too good..
today, my sweet boys, came into my office where i was working, all dress up (well, for what boys would be) . and asked me if I was ready to go take their pictures. I said what? not even turning around... you never want me to take your pictures (I have been trying for weeks to get them both together for a holiday one)
They said HAPPY BIRTHDAY - we give you a 1/2 hour.
and they willingly did :) I was in my glory. it only lasted about 10 minutes, but they never once complained - and gave me the best cheese grins a mom could ask for :)
My neighbor's cocker spaniel is so starved for attention that this is what he does so I will talk sweet to him--wish I could do more. They put him in the backyard and that's
where he stays.
Whenever our kitty Frodo hears my sister and me together in the same room he has to come join us.
The other day we were talking in her computer room and he came running, afraid he was going to miss something. We must have been boring because within minutes he was up on top of the sewing machine - most likely trying to resume the nap he interrupted to join us.
A few months away from his 15th birthday. Shy, wary, gentle and sweet.

At 15 years 7 months we still call him and his brother Frodo "the pups." The last of the dogs we raised from birth. Cholie has some nerve damage affecting his back legs, but otherwise he is a happy and healthy boy.
