Summer silhouettes against a burnt orange, summer sunset.
In this scene a young boy is swatting at and/or trying to capture a bug. If you look close enough you can see the insect.
The Swat River (Urdu: دریائے سوات, Pashto: سوات سیند) is a perennial river in the northern region of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Province, Pakistan. The river's source is in the high glacial valleys of the Hindu Kush mountains, where it then flows into the scenic Kalam Valley before forming the spine of the wider Swat valley – an important tourist destination in northern Pakistan for its scenic beauty, and former stronghold of the ancient Gandhara region with numerous ancient Buddhist sites scattered through the region.
The Sanskrit name may mean "clear blue water." Another theory derives the word Swat from the Sanskrit word shveta (lit. 'white'), also used to describe the clear water of the Swat River. To the ancient Greeks, the river was known as the Soastus. The Chinese pilgrim Faxian referred to Swat as the Su-ho-to.
The beautiful valley of Swat which was once considered Switzerland of Pakistan and was one of Pakistan’s most attractive tourist destination is today a battle scene between Pakistan armed forces and the Taliban.
The human exodus from the war-torn Swat valley in northern Pakistan is turning into the world's most dramatic displacement crisis since the Rwandan genocide of 1994 . Reference - www.guardian.co.uk/world/2009/may/18/swat-valley-pakistan...
Watching CNN this morning I realized once aging the media is being irrational by saying aid can be misused by Pakistan to create more nuclear weapons. Food, tents, medical aids coming through international agencies can not be turned into nuclear bombs.
I visited Swat couple of times and my recent photographers are from the summer of 2006. I have created a set for you to take a look at the people, children, women and men, their lifestyle and surrounding. The very same people are living in miserable state in refuge camps and need our help. Please forward the link to your friends and try helping the people with your donations.

And finally, here it is, the future of police militarization coming to protests in a dystonian hellscape near you. This is another "fer shitz" build that will definitely see future use. It's also another build that I made entirely on my own but I feel like someone else has already made. For the weapons, I imagine those dual guns on the inside of the hands are non-lethal riot rounds, the one on the outer left is a tear gas dispenser, and the one on the outer right is some big, unnecessary 30mm Cannon. The chestplate is a minifig.cat riot shield.
