There's a video in the gallery that shows the artists process - a gel substance is poured over a subject - they insert a straw so that the person can breathe. When the substance dries it is carefully removed and creates a mold of the subject. The mold is then filled with plaster creating the sculpture which is then painted and sometimes embellished - women wear jewelry, some have tattoos or hold objects.
