Simple build, but I love the colors and balanced composition.

création d'un MOC spécialement pour le Chef Sushi des Minifigures LEGO Ninjago Le Film

For day 4 of #Vignweek2022

I built a vignette for the Sushi Chef minifigure from the Ninjago Movie CMF series.

The chef reminded me of Hattori Hanzo from Kill Bill, so I added a collection of swords at the back of this traditional sushi restaurant.

I also added a little bonsai.

Who wants some sushi?

Where is Anton!? He kept saying he was going to build that fishing store near here... sushi chef, Cho-Li Leiko, will just have to improvise until then...

.

Cho-Li needs to invest in some proper fishing gear:

-boat

-fishing rod

-net

-traps

-boat

-bait

-life jacket

-hooks

While I was wandering on Castro Street in Mountain View, I stopped by this sushi restaurant to order some food to go. When I came back to pick up my order, I saw the sushi chef working on his next order. I decided to take a quick shot of his action with my Contax IIa rangefinder, which came in handy as it 's so small and discreet. The chef didn't even notice I was pointing my camera at him. Again, you can see the Cinestill halation on the spotlights in the ceiling.

Tokyo 東京, Japan 日本

His sushi is masterful, but it's his charming smile that makes the experience unforgettable.

[Smile on Saturday! :-)] [Capture the C...]

Managed to work on this abandoned project and was happy it is coming along albeit slowly... I have no choice for the high roof there because of the white flags which I wanted in the front... though I have no idea how to complete the top roof... :O

Sushi restaurant located near the Tsukiji Fish Market in Tokyo, Japan. The Tsukiji Fish Market is the biggest fish market in the world and handles hundreds of types of seafood, ranging from tiny sardines to large tuna, sold in over 900 stalls. We visited early in the morning and were able to find our way into the market after enjoying sushi for breakfast. Guided tours are available, but didn’t make it in time as in-person registration opens at 5 am and is limited to 120 visitors per day. Nonetheless, our self-guided visit was equally fun and unforgettable.

Thank you for taking the time to look at, comment on, and fave my photographs.

Dive into the authentic flavors of Japanese cuisine with this exquisite bowl of Chirashi Don, a vibrant and colorful dish that is a feast for both the eyes and the palate. This image showcases a beautifully arranged Chirashi Don, a traditional Japanese dish consisting of a variety of fresh sashimi slices artfully placed over a bed of seasoned sushi rice. The bowl features an array of seafood delicacies including succulent slices of tuna, salmon, and white fish, each piece glistening with freshness. At the center, a generous portion of bright orange salmon roe (ikura) adds a burst of umami flavor, while a whole shrimp, complete with its head and tail, adds a touch of elegance and authenticity to the presentation. The dish is garnished with finely shredded egg (tamago) and a dollop of wasabi, providing a balance of textures and flavors. The vibrant green shiso leaf not only adds a pop of color but also a refreshing herbal note that complements the rich seafood. Accompanying the Chirashi Don is a bowl of miso soup, complete with seaweed and green onions, offering a warm and comforting contrast to the chilled sashimi. This dish is a perfect representation of the meticulous attention to detail and the harmonious balance of flavors that are the hallmarks of Japanese cuisine. Whether you are a sushi aficionado or a newcomer to Japanese food, this Chirashi Don promises an unforgettable culinary experience that captures the essence of Japan's rich culinary heritage.

I was so happy that I could tile the floor without buying any new tiles... :D a massive achievement!

A new scene in my Living Large series.

What I like about Los Angeles is that you can eat anything from around the world, from $1 taco or bowl of rice, $2 pizza, $5 lasagna, $8 steak to $10 sushi and more.

I never plan what I'm going to eat the next day or week. I like finding new places to eat; it brings excitement to a regular day. :)

I discovered this new sushi place around the office. The Sushi Chef was so funny while he was preparing the food. He provided great recommendations. I am definitely going back to this place. :)

Fresh out of a tank, this master sushi chef is getting ready to prepare some tai (snapper) sushi. It doesn't get any fresher then this, as indicated by the motion blur of the fish.

Limited space so I had to build the fridge and sink into the wall... haha!
