Diese Yoga Übung passt doch ausgezeichnet zum Sonnenaufgang.

Deriva dal sanscrito “surya” che significa “sole”, e “namaskara” che significa “saluto”.

Il saluto al sole è composto da una serie di asana che vengono ripetuti ciclicamente e che vanno praticati la mattina, come metodo per fare il pieno di energia e iniziare la giornata al massimo. Teoricamente dovrebbe essere praticato al momento esatto del sorgere del sole.

Io non ho ancora imparato a farlo, ma provo comunque una grande emozione quando sorge il sole. Sempre.

Brasstown Bald Sunrise - October 2020.

Surya Namaskar means salutation to the sun. This was one of the most beautiful sunrises I have seen in a while. I really should have not taken this photograph and just enjoyed it.

A pilgrimage site, a spectacular waterfall where the river Bhagirathi falls into a pool forming rainbows on a sunny day.

First waterfall on Bhagirathi river is at this location. The pool contains a Shivling over which the water falls directly and can be only seen during the peak winter months when the flow is reduced significantly. Legends have it, it has been there for atleast a few thousand years.

Hindus have prayed to the infinite form of the God as Shiv for millenia. Har Har Gange.
