a) A fisherman may not work
b) I have to work
c) I have to listen to managers
d) A fisherman must listen to digital alarm
Point a-d) All of us have responsibilities!
Conclusion: Fisherman's probably happier than I am ....
Getting up early, it's hard.. But it sure is beautiful! Schiermonnikoog is a place without cars, at least, there aren't much, so it's really quiet and the only sounds you here are from birds.. That is really nice! :)
More sunrisephotos to come!
HR:
Spremni smo.
EN:
On the first day of summer, I rose before the sun.
Spring waved goodbye last night with the sunset, and this morning, summer quietly arrived — strong and serene.
The sun emerged above the hills between Crikvenica and Selce, rising through the breeze that swept away the clouds and stirred the sea.
Seagulls dance in the sky, waves kiss the rocks, and salt fills the air.
Summer has come. We are ready.
FR:
I spent my holidays in the Bruce Peninsula and was greeted each morning with scenes such as these. Every field was filled with sparrows, larks, warblers, snipe and sandpiper, Sandhill Cranes to mention a few.

Corinthian gulf near Nafpaktos is generally very well protected from the winds. Often, therefore, its undulating waters turn into a liquid mirror for the colors of the sunrise or sunset as well as the shapes of the clouds.

A little bit of overnight frost, sunrise and pebbles polished by water over millennia. Receding tide on the black beach created a bit different view at Vestrahorn.
I took this photo of the sunrise on our house beach in early 2020 with a Nikon D5600 and then processed it accordingly. It is one of a series of experiments I did with this style of processing.
Hey everyone!! I am back:) I made so many pics I did not know which ones to upload first. so though I'll start with some surises (btw I saw 4 awesome ones).

On a morning trip to Eastbourne I had planned to photograph the fabulously painted Towner Gallery that I've seen a few pictures of here on Flickr. However just opposite the gallery is this much smaller but equally striking building. Modern but yet with an Art Deco influence, I couldn't help myself. I was planning to do a monochrome edit, but actually it seems to suit a bolder edit in colour. Canon EOS 6D & Sigma Art 14-24mm f/2.8
A moment of quiet gratitude before the cottage stirs; before the puttering of fishing boats; the hum of cicadas; the shrieks of laughter and the splashing of water. So grateful for a week to unplug from all the negative noise of the world.
Image taken on the beach at Hopton-on-sea on the Norfolk coast showing the sun rising above the sea and reflecting on the water and illuminating the gaps in the cloud above.
Surise shot time and we were hopeful for some nice conditions. It was a freezing morning in the layby next to Mam Tor path, we were going to go to the top for the best views and conditions for the journey looked really promising until we actually arrived on site and it was just cloud banks, not an inversion just cloud obscuring everything.
I managed to grab one shot I was happy with the lighting on a few minutes before sunrise proper. After a few minutes stood out in the freezing wind, we left for a toilet stop. Imagine my glee when we were parked up in Castleton car park and all the colours appeared above me as the cloud banks dispersed rapidly, typical!
Excuse to try again I suppose :o)
