For me this was evocative of a wave and I loved it. I have photographed it with the Indiana Tearooms in the background which is iconic for Cottesloe, thereby setting it in a specific place.

late last year, i was contacted by someone at Surface magazine asking if they could use some of my photos from the 11th Architecture Bienale in Venice for their upcoming Chinese edition. I said yes, of course, as long as I was given credit and a free copy. They agreed, and I sent them the hi-res photos. I received my copy in the mail today. Thanks, flickr! Now i've got a new line for my CV!

Decided to finish off walking the Forth Clyde canal. caught the bus out to Kilsyth and set off in the rain. Auchinstarry Quarry has a pool and a series of cliffs and is a famous climbing area. This (to me) featureless slab has a famous climb up it called Surface Tension. I had other things to do so I decided to give it a miss. I did stop off at the little cafe though for a bacon sandwich.
