A stencil-like pattern today I’ve been working on and finally like this version a bit. I think I should learn the drop pattern to break up the diagonal a bit. It’s done in the limited palette of Mouse, Atlantic Blue, Pale Lemon, Ice and Graphite Grey for Este Macleod’s #coloricombo #estemacleodclass for prompt 23. I also used the overall texture pattern from Jennifer Nichols.

Another version in Atlantic Blue background of yesterday’s stencil-like peony pattern— plain and with texture. The limited palette is Mouse, Atlantic Blue, Pale Lemon, Ice and Graphite Grey for Este Macleod’s #coloricombo #estemacleodclass for prompt 23. I also applied an overall texture pattern from Jennifer Nichols in three layers: two on blend mode add and one on blend mode overlay- flipped, reversed, different opacities.
