The only reason that Tiny Teddy did not jump into this photo is:

All is quiet on this early morning of Bastille Day in Arromanches. A small seaside resort in Normandy on the English Channel, Arromanches-les-Bains got its place in the history books secured when it became part of the landing area on D-Day, 6 June 1944. Moreover, Arromanches became one of the principal offloading areas for Allied troops and supplies until permanent harbours could be used. Parts of the so-called Mulberry artificial harbour can still be seen on the beach and in the sea. The barbed wire is not to resist invaders, but to keep people from falling off the treacherous cliffs.

School supplies include pencil, ruler, ruled tablet and a gummy eraser. It's been a long time since I needed to buy school supplies, either for myself or for kids. HMM! Thanks to anyone that cares to view, fave and maybe even leave a comment.

Lake Oô (Òu in modern Gascon Occitan) is a lake in the Pyrenees of 42 ha and a maximum depth of 67 m, artificial since the construction of a dam on the glacial lake. It supplies the Oô hydroelectric plant with a capacity of 30 MW. His name is particularly known by cruciverbists.
Oô comes from the Gascon iu or èu, "high mountain lake": "lac d'Oô" is therefore an etymological repetition.
With its famous waterfall almost 300 meters high which tumbles from the lake of Espingo located higher (1,882 m), the lake of Oô (1,507 m) is one of the essential hikes in the Astau valley, in Haute-Garonne in the Pyrenees.
Unfortunately the sky was cloudy and we couldn't see the surrounding peaks reflected in the lake.
This table full of supplies was available to us during our cake decorating activity at Cake Creation Studio. Lots to choose from but we kept things very simple.

This week's theme for Mosaic Montage Monday was Office Supplies. Everything for the mobile office right here! HMMM!
Completed this afternoon. I really enjoyed doing this one despite the fact it was a reasonably difficult one - another that had letters on the back of each piece.
A shot from the archives ramped up with Snapseed and PicMonkey..."Just because" : )
Hope everyone is having a good Hump Day!

A little experimentation here. Mostly processed with Silver Efex Pro, but then played with split toning in Lightroom, along with adding some grain to hide blemishes and processing artifacts. (The play with split toning was motivated by the marvelous work of Julius Tjintjelaar.) I also wore out the healing brush on this one---my sensor filter is looking as if it's been sneezed on repeatedly. I ordered a whole host of cleaning supplies, and I'm hoping they do the trick.
Filters: polarizer, 1-stop hard-edge GND, 10-stop ND
Wikipedia: The Studebaker Champion is an automobile which was produced by the Studebaker Corporation of South Bend, Indiana, from the beginning of the 1939 model year until 1958. It was a full-size car in its first three generations and a mid-size car in its fourth and fifth generation models, serving as the junior model to the Commander.
St. Louis Car Museum: With the anticipation of the World War II effort to begin, all automotive manufacturers ceased civilian production early into 1942 to focus production on military equipment and supplies. Production of cars and trucks halted on February 10, 1942. Approximately 300 vehicles built up to this period at Studebaker were reserved by the US Government to be utilized only for the Civil Defense Auxiliary and the New York Police Department. To conserve material, the usually chromed components were instead painted. These special vehicles were recorded with Studebaker as Deluxe Champion Model 90 “Black Out” Coupes and Sedans.

A regular and almost daily scene in the village. I am continuing my attempts at shooting from the hip. At the moment, the combo I am using are the Fujifilm X-E3 (a very small and light camera) and an equally minute 18mm lens (27mm FF equivalent). I set the camera to aperture priority. So far, almost all the images done this way are in focus, however, very few were satisfying in terms of composition and narrative. Room for improvement.
