Il paesaggio della collina umanizzata presenta sempre il classico mosaico di superfici agrarie alternate a superfici boschive di profilo irregolare. Nella primavera il colore della terra in attesa della semina rivela spesso la natura della roccia madre. In questo caso, il suolo del Ferretto rosso rivela la sua matrice calcarea e la sua povertà. Una terra avara, da lavoro duro, da viti e da ulivi ..... ..
These guys have been inspiring and challenging me all summer. I had very few opportunities to capture a picture. Either the light was miserable or my winged friends were just way too fast for me. Next year I will train a bit more!

I caught this guy before he started to smile at the camera and look posed. He was very happy to have his picture taken.
Wish I was cool enough to get away with this hat but I'm so bad even my hair left that part of me in protest.
