No......Donaghadee Lighthouse hasn't had an upgrade. I just happened to catch reflections from the sun off the glass at the top!!!
Flickr seems to have recovered from earlier today.....all I could see was broken image symbols or out of focus shots?
Hello to Nono Quatriz from Belfast who I met this morning on the harbour :)
Car shot for www.kdskeltec.co.uk/
KDS are very well known for being the best detailers there are. This car is a masterpiece and the paint is perfect. No picture can do it justice of just how perfect a paint finish it is, but hopefully this picture gives you an idea of just how stunning the car is.

While visiting my home town of Auburn, Indiana, I took this pic of the very thing that makes our town great.
Ghost Rides from Christmas Past...a Holiday series evoking memories of toy / model car gifts that car freaks, like myself, received as children many years ago. The vehicles (including trucks, planes, boats) that I have collected & photographed over the past years include many that are not production gems...close-up photography shows their blemishes, their Worts, their play-worn use & abuse. It's their rugged surfaces, their patinas, their sculptural presence that I seek to photograph...and their persona, their character, and their 'story' that I hope to capture and project...because, as a child, I would hold each little car I would receive as a gift up very, very close to my eye and inspect every stylistic design element, and because I loved cartooning, I imagined that I could see into their personalities...their souls... of these small pieces of art...not unlike the personalities that many pet owners project into their fluffy (or shaggy, feathery, scaley) members of their family.
And, certainly I would imagine their drivers, as well...in the case of the best of these small cars, the imaginary driver would be, of course, me.
Hopefully, my photographs also give the illusion of these vehicles being larger than life, seen more to the scale of actual drivable vehicles, or even larger than that.
It's the style, the aura, the story, and maybe a little mystery that I hope you come away appreciating from these relics. Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays to all of you, my Flickr friends!
(p.s. the subject photographed here is a white metal model of a 1936 Auburn Speedster...the model was made from a kit produced in the UK)
According to published reports, this vehicle sold for USD$650,000.

"Praise Him for His mighty acts;
Praise Him according to His excellent greatness!
Praise Him with the timbrel and dance;
Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes!"
Psalm 150: 2, 4
Only the outer shell of this classic Mustang remains the same, except for a supercharged 585 under the bonnet.
The owner (a Chiropractor) now residing in California modified this car his way. It sports 18 inch rims up front and 20 inch at the rear. Other mods completed is a custom interior and sound system.
The car looks, sounds, and drives like no other of it's kind.
I have previous photos of this classic taken in June 08.
