Old Conrail Super 7’s find a second chance at life on the Ohio Central.

Before the clouds rolled in early in the evening! Could see the darkness though, during the eclipse around 4:30 am. Hope you could view the eclipse!

Near Cayley, Alberta. This was taken earlier this week on a chilly morning in southern Alberta.

Hand held, spot metered, ISO 400.

Levels adjusted in post.

Maybe next time with a tripod.

Not sure if this was a replica or real one. But it was a beauty.

April 26, 2021

I was not sure if I would be able to see the super moon through the cloud tonight. After waiting a few minutes the clouds opened for seconds at a time and this is what I captured. The large edits are for my own desktop so this time I am sharing the small images.

yet more red Aster.

All the colours are great however the red of the Asters is SUPER!

How can I resist them, so vibrant, pure eye candy.

Have a wonderful day and thank you for your comments... M, (*_*)

Info : I was sitting in the car waiting for my colleague. Suddenly a tiny spider jump on my slack. I took my camera and took this shot. I have to set the macro to maximum to take this shot. Therefore you can see the texture details of the slack thread as well. Enjoy my flickr friends and member.

Captured the Super moon through the LED lights from my balcony. Unfortunately I didn't have super Tele zooms that time and I had to endup with 135mm.

The Super-Ski-Doo was the perfect vehicle for fast travel over the frozen lakes and glacial plateaus of Hibernia. Fun to drive and popular with crews, its lack of space for passengers or cargo meant that only limited numbers were brought to the planet.

This vehicle was totally inspired by Arnaud Caubel on artstation.

Autumn this year has been quite special to me in the sense that I got to some spots I thought would take me years to go to, but was thrilled that it all came together so quickly…

One of the most fascinating views of Autumn for me is to view a cascade amidst the trees and rocks with colours of autumn foliage scattered across the frame. Well if you belong to my school of thought, you would really love to be among the cascades in Plitvice lakes in Croatia. As the weather wasn’t playing ball in Slovenia, I drove to Plitvice lakes amidst thick fog which practically rendered visibility of about 2 feet. Driving through rugged mountain terrain in thick fog is particularly challenging and it only gets magnified if you are doing it after dark where there are a lot of deers that cross by from time to time.

Eventually I made it there late in the night and took shelter in the near by town. Morning was damp and murky and I started with my walk as the showers relented. There are many ways of doing this walk. Some start at the top and descend all the way to the lowest level. I prefer going up, so I started in the lowest level and went along the boardwalk for a good 3 hours to complete the entire walk. The color of the water coupled with cascades rippling through trees and rocks made Plitvice a special place to visit.

Plitvice Lakes National Park is one of the oldest national parks in Southeast Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. In 1979, Plitvice Lakes National Park was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register. The national park was founded in 1949 and is situated in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia. Each year, more than 1 million visitors are recorded. There is an entrance fee of about 110 Kuna in off season which includes boat rides from various points and a bus ride back to where you started which I thought was pretty cool :)

No supermoon sighting in the UK owing to dense clouds...well at least I hope some of you caught a glimpse from elsewhere!!

Thanks for viewing and have a nice week ahead!

This evenings light was amazing to see...even Clover was lol, looking at it...Right before this happened there was a golden glow atop all the trees...something to look for when there's going to be a red sundown.

The Super Moon as it was over the Humber this morning.

I have cropped the shot.

L'ancienne route du Tourmalet se libère de la neige, bientôt les cyclistes vont pouvoir l'emprunter.

Super fun time watching the last Baldwin built locomotive in operation. A good year for chasing steam this year. Chesapeake and Ohio H6 now in Western Maryland Scenic Colors.

Santiago, Chile.

"Super Lune"... Bof, il fallu viser entre les nuages...

After overnight temperatures dropped to -8deg C, December 1st 2019 yielded a perfect, windless winter day in the Northern Fells. Merchant Navy Class 35018 "British India Line" passes Salterwath in great style with the second "Santa Special" of the season, hauling a 13 coach load, plus train heating diesel loco. This situation happens only rarely!
