The "Super Moon" will be full tomorrow night and will be closer to earth than any time since 1948. As the forecast for tomorrow is not great, here is what an almost full moon looks like tonight. It won't come this close again until 25 November 2035.

Weather man said cloudy tomorrow night so I thought I would give it a try tonight. From the time she broke the horizon to about 25 degrees up she was a Pink Lady Moon.

A rare super worm moon loomed large as it coincided with the spring equinox. It was the third time this year a full moon occurred near to the moon’s closest approach to Earth – making it a supermoon – and will be the last such event in 2019.
It was comfy last night taking this photo on a relatively warm Spring evening. A bit of high cloud gave it a halo.
