Andalusia is located in southern Spain and covers an area of 8 provinces. Andalusia is the second largest autonomous region in Spain. Beautiful Andalucía, the land of olives, oranges, sunflowers, beautiful mountain ranges and valleys, nice white mountain villages with beautiful squares, is a bridge between two continents, Africa and Europe, and is the point where the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea meet. There is something for everyone in Andalusia, from culture to beautiful terraces, sights, long beaches, beautiful inland areas with beautiful reservoirs, mountains and nice villages to visit. Seville is the capital of the province of Andalusia. It has a colorful history dating back to the Romans. The Metropol Parasol was built in 2011, locally known as Las Setas - the Mushrooms. It is the landmark of Seville today. Designed as a giant sunshade with its 30 m high mushroom-like pillars by the German architect Jürgen Mayer. Perhaps the world's largest wooden structure. Elevators run from the basement to the top. It has a beautiful view of the city via a winding walkway from the wavy honeycomb roof.
Enjoy the most beautiful journey around the most important places of the city of Seville. Metropol Parasol is a wooden structure located at La Encarnación square, in the old quarter of Seville, Spain. It was designed by the German architect Jürgen Mayer and completed in 2011.
The male fiddler crabs have a huge right claw (that looks like a fiddle and so the animal gets that name), which they use to display and attract females. Except for this purpose, this claw is believed to have no other use.
However, in this picture, where the fiddler crab makes its display to shoo off opponents, this frame appears as though it is using the arm as a sun-shade, though it is obviously not using it so!
Job 27:18 “He has built his house like a moth’s cocoon, like a temporary sunshade that a watchman makes.”
When the sun bright so hard in Paris and that you don't have sunshade, you use your crocodile bag ;-)
. . . Cutting the grass this morning I had to stop, wrestle my phone out of my pocket, and snap this shot of a Bald Eagle swooping down for a fish out of West Lake! It sure looked a lot more impressive in person, but I guess it's the best from the camera I had on me at the time! Can you see him?
Have a great week Facebook, Flickr, and 500px friends!
La Palma in the Canary Islands.
A beautiful little volcanic island. The sunsets I witnessed were not usually stunning, but I found after a few trials and errors that the trick was to wait until after the sun had disappeared. Then about 20 Minutes later there was a colouring of the sky, which when exposed correctly (it was rather dark by that time) and with just a tweak of saturation in PS was enough to produce some pleasing images.
This is one of these photographs where I think they would be great for ad's (and similar stuff).
Clean and typical, when you think on holidays - maybe one of the advertising agencies for the tourism sector wanna buy it? *g*

I've seen umbrellas used as decorative elements at a number of plazas around the Lower Mainland. This is the first time that the shadows really stood out to me.
Going through my older photos and found this one. Watching the sun go down in Santa Ponsa Majorca with the sunshades and sunbeds silhouetted along the shoreline.
