Ger.: Hier ein weiteres Bild vom Crater Lake von meiner USA Reise im Sommer 2023. Es zeigt den wunderschönen Crater Lake in Oregon im während einem beeindruckenden Sonnenuntergang. Die Sonne ist umgeben von Blendensternen und Lensflare und ein breiter Pfad der Reflektion des goldenen Sonnenlichts auf dem tiefen und ruhigen Wasser führt direkt zu dem Aussichtspunkt, vom dem aus ich das Bild gemacht habe.
Eng.: Here's another picture of Crater Lake from my trip to the USA in summer 2023. It shows the beautiful Crater Lake in Oregon during a magnificent and colorful Sunset. The sun is surrounded by stunning aperture stars and a wide path of the golden sunset reflection on the deep and still water leads right to the view point I took the picture from.

Stena Ro Ro's "Stena Carrier " berthed in Dun Laoghaire while the crew are on shore leave, in between charter duties before heading off on long term charter to P & O on their Teesport/ Rotterdam service ( previously operated by WILHELMINE ).
In 2018, the Stena Carrier was sold to Baja Ferries and renamed M / F Mexico Star.
Its sister ship, the Stena Foreteller is about to take up a short term charter for Irish Ferries while their own fleet is on overhaul, Foreteller expected to operate the mainly freight Dublin-Cherbourg route in January 2020.

Morpeth's Bluebell Woods are - as the name suggests - most visited in Spring when the woodland floor is carpeted with bluebells but they are well worth a walk at any time of year.
The woods - more properly the Howburn Woods, named for the How Burn which flows through them into the Wansbeck - are accessed at a layby at the foot of Whorral Bank on the A196, on the eastern edge of the town, or through the Easter Field behind the Health Centre nearby.
Access from the layby involves a couple of flights of steps, while access from the Easter Field involves a steep climb.
As well as the bluebells, there are a wide range of woodland plants, red squirrels, woodland birds - and the occasional deer.
Last night's sun setting through the smoky haze caused by the fires in southern California and northern Nevada. Made for a dramatic sunset. Thinking of all those displaced and all those brave souls working to contain the fires. ❤
