To a distant memory that I held dear, you've always been in my thoughts throughout all of these years. We parted with tears as we said our goodbyes. I watched the light fade dim from within your own eyes. As another sun sets, I live on with regret as I dread another step that I must walk all alone. Quick sunset snap from last night on the way home from uni! The sunrises and sunsets these past few weeks have been beautiful and I haven't always been so fortunate to have my camera on me!

This scene occurred when a large cloud system created a natural screen for the setting sun's light on the left, whilst the blue sky behind the clouds was revealed on the right. This shot was one of my first using my new EF24-70mm f/2.8L II USM lens, which did a fantastic job of captured the scene.
