It was definitely a grey day from the very start and a storm was incoming from the North Sea.
So when everybody else was in their nice cozy houses, lil me headed out.
Looking for weather.
I knew I would at least get wind, waves and rain.
I came to this spot and the rain was pouring and the car was parked, but wiggled in the wind (I don't think that is a word..).
I said out loud it would be nice with some sun, lol.
A bit unrealistic if that happened of course.
Well, what you ask for you will get, I was thrilled that I went out, to say the least 😋
Visnes has a local copper mine that provided material for the Statue of Liberty in New York City. Tests were made at the Bell laboratory in USA in 1986 which concluded that this was true, some says this isn't true tho..
They who meant this to be true wanted to place this statue where the mines were, to honor the past history.
The copper at this site was first discovered in 1865. Visnes was the site of one of the most active of the Norwegian copper mines in history. During the 1870s, it was the largest copper mine in Norway.
Cool huh 😎
😀 I just love saying that 😂
There is so much optimism in these words.
And, check to the right by the wretched line on the sky, even the sky gives us a smile today.😆
I'm on a weekend trip to Fredrikstad, there is absolutely no snow here.
And I realized that morning to light is difficult to catch.
Am going thru all the old hard drives creating albums to make searching for specific images much easier but man it takes time but nothing like the frustration of not being able to find what you want. As part of that have come across some gems that were passed over for some reason or other. This is one of them.
Bowentown beach one evening...
A re-edit of a old crop sensor file from a few yonks ago. Just love the new up-dated software that really deals to the noise and enlarges the file for printing with out any loss of details...even enhances the image with the up-date this week. Why spend mega-bucks on lots of gear? But who can resist a new toy...
Looking from the summit of Mount Maunganui towards Major Island in the distance with a fisherman in his runabout heading for Tauranga Harbour. Makes the hooman seem really small in the vast open sea...
Balance in all things
We need it all
Well, not everyone needs to say bring it on and I will deal with it - I know I'm a bit too enthusiastic in my growth in this life
But to really live life I think we need to taste many of the feelings an earthling may have
Our growth lays just there
In the feelings
It can be a roller coaster for sure
Geeez, it can hurt, so deep, you don't really understand that you will get out of it alive
But when things are dealt with and you find the peace within
It so worth having gone through with it all
Then the learning starts
You need to take a look at what you have been through, using the meta perspective look
You need to learn why things happened the way it did, then you might avoid this another time
Life is complex
We need to bring balance in our life
A bit of that
And
A bit of that
But what we need the most is of course Love
Love yourself, treat yourself with respect, give yourself the small joys and be aware of them
You are not alone
Never
Let your loved ones bathe in love
Small tokens
A little txt "Love you" "Thinking of you"
It's so important, we can never get enough
It's the greatest gift we can give to ourselves and to others
Love you ♥️
All I saw in the start was the incoming clouds soon to devour the sun
And of course I went on a sunset chase
I really love clouds
We all have cloudy days
So it fits my mood from time to time
Because I know they will only stay for a little while and they will always transform, always vanish somehow
That is the essens of the expression EvaTude, putting on the positive attitude "It all will end well", but letting me of course taste the downer-feelings, but not too long tho
Pls not too long, sigh
It's something I had to rehearse and explore on, this *tude, and I definitely love seeing the light in things
That is what is getting my butt move
The Light
And this time my butt moved with no expectations whatsoever
Often when I go into things with no expectations the very best happens
And it is the very best because I don't expect any special things
It's a catch, isn't it
I ended up with a color explosion and I of course stayed and stayed till the end
It was getting dark
But within it was light
See, it did transform this time too
SuperDuperEvaThrilled
I think I had angelwings lifting me up when I went home
I noticed that the white walls on the houses turned pink, turned my head and saw the incoming rain which was blue, and then all this pink light.
Thrilled, OverThrilled, EvaThrilled.
Swoooosch, off she went 😂😂😂

These boulders at Tongaporutu are so hard to find and get to now. The last time i ventured down the coast exploring the way was blocked because the wind and tides had moved the sands at a pinch point and there was no way safely past. Not worth risking a rescue call out for some images even tho i have a PLB.
Haugesund with colors exploding, amazing place if you want to dive into sunsets
I bet one of you will visit this place this summer
Well
Who is coming??
Anyone??
We have a house available, lol
I thought I should prove to myself that I could upload a photo without me going blah blah,
So
This is the proof
Wow - all the things I could have said - I almost regret my decision....
Enjoy, in silence
We all have them
They are there for us to learn
They are there for us to get knowledge about ourselves
The same kind of set backs keep coming over and over again
Until you deal with them in a proper way
But never give up
Never ever
And why is that
The reward is grand
The reward is you coming slowly in balance
The reward is you getting rid of the same problem that keep coming over and over again
The reward is you giving your selfesteem a boost
We all need that from time to time
The reward is you getting faith in yourself
The reward is getting respect for yourself
This fight is all about you
Don't loose faith in yourself
Never ever
Put on my EvaTude, that attitude that just say "What the F...,
I will not be defeated by this"
And start looking for the choices there are
There are always other ways to look at a problem
You just need to be open for it
There are always new angles, new perspectives you haven't looked at
We are often stuck in our own point of view
Talking to someone can also be a solution
We have helpers out there, we aren't alone
Please always believe that, you aren't alone
So my ship on the photo has of course a Captain
He is on the move to a destination
This time he might not even have full control, but he is heading towards the sun, the light
Never ever giving up
The reward is too big
Use this image if you need it, download it as a screensaver or print it out, if you need a special boost
Because this photo is full of it
This image is
Full of EvaTude in EvaVision
We never ever give up, the reward is too grand
And this photo is of course full of my love to you
Use it to the fullest and believe in yourself
You will manage this time too
Love you
I'm often feeling high
High on life
High on love
It's an exquisite mood
It's a kind of state of mind
I really enjoy
When you can't stop enjoying
All there is
When you can't stop feeling
So optimistic
When you can't stop smiling
So widely
Well, the future is mine
Luckily yours too
Cherishing my moments
That is my life
Full of moments
Life itself is exquisite
Wow, this is the best life ever
Thank you
For being there
For supporting me
Indirectly and directly
It means the world to me to have met
You
♥️
Love you
♥️
I use Flickr like that, you know
I used to write a diary, all the way till I was 16 and went off to England for a working camp for 3 weeks.
I was so sure that I would never come from that trip alive
So I burned the diaries I had
Little did I understand that the burning was a way to tell myself that I was finished with the life I had till that day.
It was often a wretched life, lots of circumstances made it like that
Things no child should experience
So deep down I understood that I had choices to make
I had a life to live
How to start the change?
Tricky one for a 16 year old
But I started to live fully and I definitely took it all in.
I had to, you know
Because how could I else understand the good things from the bad things
So I experienced loads, both good and bad - but now I was in charge, I was to do the choices.
When you experience yourself, instead of being told how to do or not to do things it settles in your mind in quite another way.
It is the first step to get things right, life schmocks right back at your face and the experiences you just did makes seeds in your mind and you can start to harvest after a while
Life could begin
Don't judge a person for dealing with life, we have reasons you may not understand and often the ones living the life don't understand before later
And yes Dear Diary, I did escape from the working camp, lol, I ran off to London and lived there for some weeks. My folks didn't know.
No cellphones, haha.
I made it home, refreshed, smuggling lots of miniature bottles with Cherry Heering and Cointreau
Life could definitely begin, lol.
Happy ending today too
And yes, Christian - this is Karmøy, sunset towards Great Britain :D
"What your heart is filled with, comes often out in words from your mouth."
It's near to my heart to say that we must think of ourselves, evolve within and find peace within - then we will play nicely with the ones we have around us.
Taking time to ourselves benefits others when we are at peace 🙏.
No wonder water does something with us
I'm drawn to water nearly in the same way as I'm drawn to the light
Water gives us life on earth
It's powerful
Noisy
It can be calm and rough
It can give you warmth and a chill
It can move you forward
It can move you backwards
The waves move in ways you've never have seen
And the moves are different every time
Feelings are like waves
Have you ever contemplated that laughter and crying are the extremes if you picture a line of feelings?
We need both
When they come spontanously they function as a balance within
Of course it must be a balance in between the two of them
We need laughter more then crying
Crying is a redemption for your feelings, when feelings are simply too much
Laughter is a redemption for your joy, your happiness
Joy lets you smile and radiance your friendliness
Joy will always influence the ones around you
Behind happiness lies positivity which is a driving force
Joy doesn't necessarily just come, you might work mentally to get it
Be aware of your life, the small things, the things that matter, the people you are surrounded by - are they good for you or not, happiness is out there for us all, we need it to thrive, we need laughter, I so imagine that it will prolong our lives.
I'm definitely going to be over 100 years, It has been 97 up to now, but now I'm moving along, laughing and living even longer. I bet my kids are thrilled, lol.
Sunday Speech became a Saturday Speech this time, hehe - I never give up, do I......
Faces of stone
So happy I reached to the beach before the sun went to sleep Sitting inside all day and then went out hiking immediately after the meeting, was the right thing to do.
Sunset galore in Haugesund, Norway.
I just can't help it, when I see that there is a light on its way, then I'm like When am I to swooooosch off. The timing can be crucial.
Some times I drive along for an hour to find the right spot, some times shorter and some times much longer.
I never get disappointed, never - how could I - it's always nice because I don't expect anything.
Being in my energy float and taking it as it comes, my best remedy for a nice hike.
Chasing sunset with my old mom is a pretty cool way of having quality time together 😄
And yes, I became wet 😂😂😂, lots of weather in Haugesund, Norway, wind, rain, colors, clouds and definitely more wind 😆.
Oh yes, did I mention that I became wet???
: )

Another productive day, even if I didn't get anything else done, but this was just one of many wonderful things.
A beautiful sunset in the harbor of Bayahibe, Dominican Republic. It's not everyday that the sun sets perfectly between the boats like this.
