A flock (or clattering) of jackdaws during a very vibrant sunset. Jackdaws make quite an impressive sight and sound as they fly in formation together before they roost for the night. A spectacular sight especially when it coincides with a dramatic sunset!

I think it's a song...) anyway, think of my Flickrfriends often. just don't seem to have the time to work on my pics lately...or check out flickr. I think I'm getting closer. Hen saw me when hen landed. I made the camera adjustments and then let myself be seen. Hen flew off straight away and got some very good shots. There is nothing wrong with the 6D autofocus if you manage to keep the object in the center.

I love sunsets, and I realized I'd never taken one with "The Birds". So I kept shooting them and saved my favorite.
Took this one at work. We get great sunsets in the foothills of the rocky mountains here in Alberta. This handsome fellow was out to enjoy the light with me :)
