#Sliders Sunday
An einem sonnigen Herbsttag waren wir am Tegeler See. Dort hatten wir vor langer Zeit unsere 15 qm. Wanderjolle liegen. Mit Wehmut habe ich mich an die Urlaube/ Wochenenden erinnert, die wir und auf den Gewässern in (West) Berlin verbrachten. Ein Segelboot aus Holz, keine Kajüte, geschlafen wurde auf Luftmatratzen, gekocht auf einem kleinen Bunsenbrenner.
Am frühen Morgen waren die Angler in ihren Ruderbooten in der Nähe, leichter Nebell lag über dem See und am Abend konnten wir die schönen Sonnenuntergänge erleben. Heute heißt es! Es war einmal……!

On a sunny autumn day we were at the Tegeler See. A long time ago we had our 15 sqm. Wandering dinghy. With nostalgia I remembered the holidays/weekends we spent on the waters in (West) Berlin. A wooden sailing boat, no cabin, sleeping on air mattresses, cooking on a small Bunsen burner.
In the early morning, the anglers were nearby in their rowing boats, light fog ag over the lake and in the evening we could experience the beautiful sunsets. Today it was once......!

Par un jour d'automne ensoleillé, nous étions au Tegeler See. Il y a longtemps, nous avions notre maison de 15 m². Dinghy errant. Avec nostalgie, je me suis souvenu des vacances/week-ends que nous passions sur les eaux à Berlin (Ouest). Un voilier en bois, sans cabine, dormant sur des matelas pneumatiques, cuisinant sur un petit bec Bunsen.
Tôt le matin, les pêcheurs à la ligne se trouvaient à proximité dans leurs bateaux à rames, un léger brouillard agitait le lac et le soir, nous pouvions assister à de magnifiques couchers de soleil. Aujourd'hui, c'était une fois...... !

Sunsets today and yesterday...outstanding...enjoyable,....but we need rain....might get some Thursday...more likely Friday....keeping our fingers crossed.

Bei klirrender Kälte erlebte ich heute diesen Sonnenuntergang. Im Gegenlicht ist die Landschaft in ein goldenes Licht getaucht und die trockenen Kräuter der Wiese leuchten rotbraun auf. Wie man sieht, hat der Winter auch schöne Seiten.
I experienced this sunset today in the freezing cold. In the backlight, the landscape is bathed in a golden light and the dry herbs of the meadow glow reddish brown. As you can see, winter also has its beautiful sides.
This is a shot of the pretty little lighthouse, Burham, Somerset, UK. Most shots are taken from the the other side with the sunset. Today the fog was down to 10 metres and the lighthouse was earning it's keep!
The light of those shortest days of the year is very special. As you see I have low rays of sunrise on the slope to the left, turning south, but the blue hour by the river, who do not get sun at all these days because of the hills on south. So the whole bright part of the day is in the blue light of after sunset but before dark and the whole time of sun is the golden light of a sunrise going into sunset.
Today is the shortest day of 2,5 hours from sunrise to sunset up in North of Iceland, but in south at my farm it is almost whole 4 hours, The day after it will be some 6 seconds longer and the accelerate every day from that
