2/4/2009 The back of my house faces southwest so I'm often able to enjoy the long, low light of sunset streaming in my back French doors. (Too bad the kitchen behind me isn't clean. But at least its in deep shadow.)

The way the sunset streamed into the window and through the whole lower level of the house was like being enveloped by warm golden caramel with little bubbles.
I was going to put a story with this, but I think I am probably going to submit it to a magazine instead.
The part of me is from the sunset streaming into my kitchen window today and since I didn't want everyone to see how messy my house is right now, I added the canyon to cover it up. The canyon picture is from when I lived in Phoenix. It's Antelope Canyon up on the Navajo Reservation. I think it is more impressive than the Grand Canyon.
