Well, we took the dogs on a walk they've never done before near my parents - down the lane, along the tree line, across the fields, to a lovely pond.
When it started to rain, we decided to take a shortcut to the house. We could see it - across a creek, thru a forest of jagger bushes, and a field of scrubby trees. We actually attempted it - but were stopped by the many sharp thorns.
So we turned around and followed an old light line which ended up being a marshy mess! We would have been better off if we had just went back the way we came!
I wish I had a shot of what Marcy & Sunny looked like by the time we reached the house. They both got baths and we were all checked for ticks.
What a mess!

We watched Mooloolaba’s Christmas Boat Parade, on the Mooloolah River, from La Balsa Park. The parade is organised by Mooloolaba Yacht Club, which is at The Wharf in Mooloolaba, Queensland. It started at 6.30pm.
Sunny died on 5th June, 2008. Her lungs gave out and she lost her battle for life. Thank you to everyone for your support. The Houlders. xx
