1. A Hadis says, "The one who passes over people's necks on Friday, makes a bridge towards Hell." (Tirmizi, V2, P48, Hadis513, Dar-ul-Fikr Beirut) One of the explanations of this Hadis is that people will enter the Hell Trampling up on him.
2. To sit facing the Khatib is a Sunnah of the Blessed Companions. (Derived from Mishkah, P123)

Some of our past saints said, "One should listen to be sermon in the sitting-posture (as one sits in Qa'dah), folding hands (under navel) during the first sermon and placing them on thighs during the second;ان شاء اللہ he will earn the Sawab of offering two rak'at Salah. (Mirah Sharh Mishkah, V2 P338)
4. A'la- Hadrat Imam Ahmad Raza Khan says, "When one hears the sermon , he should recite Durud in his heart as it is Fard to remain silent during sermon."
5. It is stated in 'Durr-e-Mukhtar, "During the sermon,eating, drinking, talking (even saying سبحن اللہ), replying to someone's greeting, and inspiring other towards righteousness, all are Haram." (Durr-e-Mukhtar ma Rad-dul-Muhtar, V3, P35)
6. A'la- Hadrat says, " Walking during the sermon is Haram. The reverent scholars even say that if someone enters the Masjid during the sermon, he must stop wherever he is without proceeding further as walking would be an act and no act is permissible during the sermon." (Fatawa-e-Razaviyyah, V8, P334, Raza Foundation Lahore)
7. A'la-Hadrat says, "During the sarmon, even looking somewhere turning the head is Haram." (ibid)

Nasehat untuk saya pribadi dan juga kita semua

Dari Abu Hurairah Radhiallahu 'Anhu, beliau berkata bahwa Nabi Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Salam bersabda :
"Sesungguhnya Allah benci terhadap ja'dhari, jawadh, orang yang suka berteriak-teriak di pasar (sakhab), laksana bangkai di malam hari, namun bak keledai di siang hari. Dia mahir urusan dunia tetapi bodoh dalam urusan akhirat" (Al Baihaqi dalam sunan Kubra 10/194 dan Ibnu Hibban (Mawarid) no. 1975 hal. 485 dan Lihat silsilah Ahaditsah Shahihah No. 195, 1/171)
Ja'dhari = Sifat keras, kasar dan sombong.
Jawadh = yang suka mengumpulkan harta dan kikir
Sakhaab = suka berteriak, berslisih dan sombong
Adapun yang dimaksud laksana bangkai pada malam hari dan bagaikan keledai pada siang hari adalah sebuah ungkapan untuk menggambarkan orang yang bekerja seperti keledai sepanjang siang untuk mencari dunia kemudian tidur sepanjang malam seperti bangkai yang tidak bergerak.

Sedangkan yang dimaksud dengan mahir dalam urusan dunia adalah mahir dalam perkara2 yang menjauhkannya dari Allah Azza Wa Jalla karena sibuk mencari dunia. Bodoh dalam masalah akhirat, maksudnya tidak mengetahui perkara2 yang mendekatkan diri kepada Allah di akhirat (Lihat Faidhul Qadir Syarah Al jami'Ush Shagir 2/275)
