Some golden coloured Toronto cityscapes through the TS vision :-)
A picture of the sun shining through snow-covered branches. A picture of a picture, to be exact -- because I used a high f-stop on this to capture the sunrays (and glistening ice crystals, seemingly!) it was too sharp for my liking. And so I took a picture of the picture on my computer screen to create an aesthetically acceptable version....to me at least -- don't get on me about proper photo quality, lol. LET ME BE THE MAD SCIENTIST I WAS BORN TO BE. I learn through EXPERIMENTATION, HUBRIS, and CATASTROPHE.

I captured this scene the other day - liked the combination of the beautiful renaissance sunset sky and techno / art deco cityscape with light snowflakes dancing in the air!
Can't help but cast a bit of my texture magic on the image too, but other than that, it's sooc.
The sky always amazes when it covered with clouds like this on a passionate sunset or sunrise. Gives me that sense of connection with the Universe.

While waiting for appearance of the full moon a few days back, I did enjoy some sun magic on our Toronto planet. The last rays of sunset beamed through the cityscape, bouncing off the glass buildings here and there :-)
Just had to cast some globular magic on this scene :-)

It was an absolutely awesome sunset in Toronto yesterday! From this golden-blue phase to glowing scarlet later... it was a celestial show to remember!
Happy Summer Solstice, everyone!
After a serious early summer thunderstorm today evening, the sunset was simply spectacular, featuring the whole apple of the sun through the natural atmospheric filters!
It was enchanting to watch it through the portals of high-rises, so I almost forgot to photograph it... acting only last minute, snapped the shot with my backup camera... but the photo cannot be compared with the beauty that was seen with real eyes!
This image is dedicated to my eldest son who had a sailing adventure this weekend. He had a sleepover on a sailboat with his buddies. They sailed out to Elliot Key and spent the day fishing and indulging in pirate adventures and explorations on the island. Lucky him got to see the super moon from the boat, out in open waters.
He was a little nervous being that far away from home overnight, but I knew it would be an experience that he'd always remember and I trusted my friends in watching over him.
I'm on my way to pick him up now and will be back later to catch up.

Continuing my Sun Magic & Toy-ronto: Little Planets series...
Sun therapy! :-) We all need more sun during short winter days, so each golden moment of sunset or sunrise is so precious and gives a lot of energy and joy! One of such moments I saw on my Toronto cityscapes recently and wanted cherish it dearly... So I just had to cast some globular magic and a thin layer of textures on this :-)

Continue to share my experiences of Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta... This year's theme was Enchanted Sunrise! :-)
So it seemed just appropriate to capture first rays of the rising sun as they appeared from behind Sandia mountains and did cast their warm solar magic upon the Balloon Fiesta Park with thousands of people and 550+ balloons!
Used tilt-shift and texture magic here again.

Back to my Sun Magic series for a little bit of sun therapy :-)
As days are growing up slowly but steady, we are getting more of the desired sun and quite enjoy it! Watched this lovely sunset during my rooftop session the other day... and just loved how our stylish downtown basked in the golden rays of the setting sun.
I felt I have to add a thin layer of textures to it as well...
Who says the Yahoo! UK webdevs drink too many soft drinks?! At least we recycle all the cans.
BTW: The luminous orange and green cans used to contain "orange juice". I put that in quotes because I'm not sure the liquid that comes out of those cans has ever been in the same room as oranges let alone been made from them.
