October 27, 2024, 3.92-mile hike to the Royal Arch at Chautauqua. Trails: Bluebell Road, Flatirons Loop, Royal Arch, Bluebell-Baird, Bluebell Mesa, and Chautauqua.

There's a story behind these pictures! Earlier that day, back in the temple we were staying at, we ran into these two Chinese guys in US Army surplus jackets. They asked up if we were American and joked that they were, too, and they made us take a bunch of pictures with them. Then they told us that they would be at the same temple we were hiking to, so we (jokingly) told them we'd see them there. Then, as we were leaving the temple to hike back, we saw them! They were SO EXCITED. They started yelling "Lailailailailai!"("comecomecomecome!") And made us take a bunch of pictures with their whole group. They were great.

For some reason, cows are mesmerizing to us. These two were really cute, they were nuzzling.
