Sundance has been with us since he was a kitten. He still gets the zoomies and tears through the house for a bit then jumps on our bed for a marathon nap.

Sundance has agreed to model his fluffy tail prior to his afternoon nap (which commenced seconds after this image was captured and at which time he laid his head between his paws and covered his face with his tail).

Sundance is sitting on the dining room table and appears to be tempted to disturb the decoration.
Perhaps he is pondering if his behavior really makes a difference at this point in time in regards to his Christmas present count.

Sundance's face and mane makes him appear to be larger than he really is. When we first introduced him to Smokey after a few days Smokey's view of Sundance was this face and mane through a partially opened door. Smokey about came out of his gray fur. But at the present it seems that Smokey no longer intimidated and the two are getting along nicely.

Sid was with us until December 2018 when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
Sundance is taking a nap as this image is uploaded (12/5/2020).
My favorite for this year because it included Sid with his mischievous expression and Sundance enjoying his favorite past time.

Sundance is a special bonus. Having been without a cat for quite some time we spotted a gray kitten on the website of a regional humane society. Subsequently we decided to go meet the kitten and upon arrival there we found him running about and being pursued by a yellow ball of fluff. My better half asked about the yellow kitten and we were told he was the gray kitten’s sibling. They both came home with us that day. We named the gray kitten Sid and the yellow ball of fluff Sundance. Regrettably Sid was only with us for a couple of years and we had to let him go due to a chronic health issue that had manifested itself after he became an adult cat and had worsened to the point of not responding to treatment. But now Sundance has another gray roommate. (That story is in the other photo I have uploaded today.) Sundance who is an inside always housecat loves naps and likes back scratches and is usually up to having his picture taken for Happy Caturday but in this one he is waiting for Smokey to vacate the cat tree.

His eyes gazing past the camera, probably watching for bird activity in the backyard.

Sundance (on the chair which is in Smokey's "safe room") is still adjusting to having a new house mate. However, at this moment Smokey is not concerned and is grabbing a snack. He is starting to adapt to his new surroundings and it seems is more interested in getting to know Sundance better, but Sundance is still somewhat cool toward the new guy. Smokey has been with us for three weeks as of today.
....targeting another "sundance" in the form of a darting reflection of sunlight on the wall that is coming from the camera as I move it about in an effort to compose this image. (which started out to be yet another picture of our cat sleeping in his perch)
