It’s been a while....Found this while I was looking for an image to possibly use for the guard your light challenge Clarissa sent me...(you remember about a year ago?)
Not suitable for that, but I think it’s sweet enough to show.
[I hope you don’t mind the perspective, my friend...uhm]

As I was out in the garden, having my camera with me, our little friendly visitor came along, wanting to be in the view of what I was photographing. So I took the opportunity and took a few photos of him :-)
This arch had been set up for a wedding the day before (the wedding party quickly lost most of their wedding clothes, and joined us for lunch at the AN side right after the ceremony). We decided to take advantage of the remaining flowers for photos of our own. Grand Lido Braco 2007

This is the first major snow of our 2008-2009 winter season. We woke up this morning rather disappointed as it was supposed to have snowed last night. But, by 8:00AM, the weather was making it up to us :)

The cats invaded the Bay Area again. This time, we took Kaytay hostage ;-)
This was a large family and friends gathering in celebration of my brother's 50th birthday. We had 30 people for Chinese dinner at Daimo in El Cerrito.
We recently purchased a new scanner/printer combo. It has a nice slide/negative adapter for the scanner, so we have started scanning our old wedding negatives.
I looked so serious in this photo. When Debbie saw it again, she was wondering what I was thinking about. Since this was shot pre-wedding, it's not hard to guess ;-)

For Flashback Friday. A little Christmas blast from the past ;-)
And, yes, that is me sitting on Santa's knee.
Between 7pm and 8pm BST, we had lots of different atmospheric optics visible from North Oxfordshire. The first to appear were a lovely pair of parhelia (sundogs) and what was really interesting was the totally different morphology between the parhelia on each side of the Sun. The contrail shadows that were visible from around 8pm onwards were some of the best I've ever seen! We had a breif display of an upper tangent arc which was the most colourful I've ever seen.
Most photos taken on this evening were taken with a Canon 1100D with 18-55mm lens, but the 2 contrail shadow photos were taken with a Samsung Galaxy S5 mobile phone camera
