I encountered a very endearing family of wild vervet monkeys who scampered around the gardens of Sun City, opening and eating sugar granules directly out of sachets from sugar bowls on the local cafe tables.

Battle of the Giants is one of the largest displays of talented dancers in South Africa, showcasing dance disciplines of every imaginable type. Jodhpur is the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Jodhpur is a popular tourist destination, featuring many palaces, forts and temples, set in the stark landscape of the Thar Desert.
The city is known as the "Sun City" for the bright and sunny weather it enjoys all the year round. The old city circles the fort and is bounded by a wall with several gates. Jodhpur is also known as the "Blue City" because of the blue colours that decorate many of the houses in the old city area.
Mehrangarh Fort (Hindi: मेहरानगढ़ का दुर्ग) (Sindhi: مهراڻ ڳڙهه), located in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest forts in India. Built around 1460 by Rao Jodha, the fort is situated 410 feet (125 m) above the city and is enclosed by imposing thick walls. Inside its boundaries there are several palaces known for their intricate carvings and expansive courtyards.
A more sedately moving butterfly in the yard, and not as numerous as the yellows. Maybe some kind of Painted Lady?
I had a great time exploring the various shops, restaurants and fun spots in Cairo’s SunCity Mall.
SunCity Mall in my opinion is where shopping meets luxury and it transports you to a new level of shopping. The mall is also beautiful with it’s stainless columns to the crystal lit chandeliers. Here you will find many international brands like GAP, Mango, Nine West, H&M, Monsoon, BabyShop and Mothercare.
It is also the ultimate entertainment destination in Cairo. Who would have thought we can finally Ice-Skate in Egypt? Well YAYYY now we can with their newly opened Ice Kingdom featuring an indoor skating rink and an outdoor ice slide – a definite must try! I personally had a blast ice-skating and can’t wait to get on the slide :)
After my Ice-Skating experience I went over to Fun Kingdom where they have various “fun” activities not only for children but also for grown-ups who enjoy parks and games. It’s an entire entertainment center featuring a variety of rides, arcade games, bowling and the perfect birthday party room.
Last but not least in the heart of this mall lies Cairo’s best hidden secret hotel, the Gabriel Hotel. The Gabriel Award is a winning Boutique hotel hidden away from the chaos and traffic of everyday life. I saw their gorgeous rooms and tried out Salt restaurant and I must say the food was delicious! A mix of the finest French cuisine with a Mediterranean flare.
