Sometimes if you throw a curve ball at Midjourney it can come up with some beautiful results. For this picture I asked it to come up with 'hair made out of sunbeams'. I love the result! I'll show another variation later today.

The Shining Sunbeam is a large, dark-brown hummingbird with a lilac-gold iridescent lower back and rump. Like other sunbeams, it has a proportionally short bill for a hummingbird. Found at high altitudes, the Shining Sunbeam inhabits semi-arid montane ridges and cloud forests. Most populations are altitudinal migrants, descending seasonally to lower elevations. The Shining Sunbeam forages mainly on nectar, but will also eat arthropods.

This plant grows in a shady spot wedged between the carport and a large dirt mound, making it difficult to photograph. One morning the elements aligned perfectly. A cluster of flowers bloomed in the right place and a sunbeam was able to fill it with light. I check this plant frequently but this scenario has never repeated.
Most male hummingbird species have a patch of glittering color on their throat and/or head. The shining sunbeam’s area of iridescence is on his lower dorsum; glittering purple to coppery green on his rump.
When everything falls into places, you will find peace.

The Last Sunbeam Prissy seems to be stretching to get some late sun and of course being cute while she does. Shot in North Carolina.
