We dropped by the Misstion district yesterday while we were in SF and walked down Clarion Alley to see the local street murals. Here, I caught an old lady standing there waiting for his son who was also taking photos of the murals. With the iteresting murals in the background, I included her into frame. It looks as if she was summoning those abstract beings on the wall.

It was just like the last summons--pull them in from the Hell or the Abyss, use a few crystals to trap them, and take some of their blood for sale in the black market. It was always the same.

Weak people loved tasting the blood of a demon or devil--the power it held was like a drug to them and when the blood was digested from their system, the high--the power--was gone. They would be at the door asking for more.

It was a lucrative business, but it paid the bills. This time, however, did not go as planned. The crystals used to stop this demon was ineffective. The humans in the room began to have nightmarish visions. Horror struck them as they realized they had summoned the keeper himself, poised to destroy them all.

It seems disingenuous, perhaps, to talk of 'Happy Monday' at a time when the weight of the pandemic may be falling heavy on many of us... but I hold on to the joys of happiness to sustain me, and hope that you find a little joy here.

I picked up the lovely Niika gown from Spyralle for the $30L special on Saturday! It's a beautiful little gown in the standard five sizes of rigged mesh plust three sizes of 'fitmesh'. This is an older piece: this is not mesh body fitmesh, but rather fitmesh variations designed around the standard body. That said, you can probably find a variant that looks good with some appropriate use of alpha zones. The Fitmesh B size worked pretty well on my Maitreya Lara body, my biggest difficulty is the same I always have with the standard five size mesh: my chest is on the smaller size (me and my A-cups) and that generally leaves to much space in the bust. I really love the Fern texture, and I would love if Kerryth might use this textuer for a fitmesh version!

I didn't intend on creating a Spyralle-heavy shoot, but the Spring Leaf necklace and earrings just worked perfectly here.

And yes, that bowl is also from Spyralle!

My first attempt at doing the so called "orb" thing. I need more practice.

A lot of these same mushrooms turned inside out as they matured. Probably a type of russula or lactarius, but it's hard to tell which. Found in the cedar swamp at Bradford Bog.

Only to overhear two other photographers complaining about the 'bloody boring butterflies and macro' cluttering up the wall as they looked at one of my favourites from last year 😂

I think I'll have to post a bloody boring butterfly to get over the trauma 😉 😂
