Had several shots with this feature - and picked the one it the mountain tip in the reflection - we might post one of the others at some point.
I've used this photo for learning to process levels in Elements - highlights, shadows and mid tones. But I think I might have managed to blow some of the cloud detail. Luckily I have kept the original.
I also did selective colour enhancement of the blues using adjustment level and painting the mask - something we touched on in the T189 digital darkroom but which I had forgotten how to do!
And with thanks to Andrew - a toposcope or topograph is a monument erected on hills, mountains or high places which indicates the direction, and usually the distance, to notable landscape features which can be seen with the naked eye from that point.

The NHS Values Summit brings together a diverse range of people and perspectives to create a greater understanding of how people’s differences, social status and cultural expectations can affect their experiences of health and care.
It challenges and inspires people to think about the role of ethical leadership in improving the health and wellbeing of local communities, staff and patients and how the NHS can increase the social value of its activities.
Welcoming representatives from health and social care, alongside more than 20 partners from the voluntary and community sector, this event (in Leeds, Yorkshire) was a template for future NHS Values Summits, which will be held twice a year in different locations across the country. Each event will explore a different theme relating to equality, health inequalities and human rights. The next gathering will take place in May 2013.

On October 18 and 19 at Jazz at Lincoln Center’s Frederick P. Rose Hall, more than 1,100 innovative city shapers and thought leaders gathered as the Municipal Art Society presented the third annual MAS Summit for New York City. This forum of ideas surrounding planning, design and infrastructure; preservation and sustainability; arts and cultural development, and community engagement featured more than 90 speakers over the two days and highlighted trailblazing initiatives in New York and other cities across the globe.
To maintain its stature as one of the world’s great global cities, New York City must continue to cultivate opportunity and nurture innovation in all spheres. This year’s Summit themes—Development, Density and Diversity—explored the balancing act of users and uses and the challenge of building a globally competitive city that is socially, economically and environmentally resilient—and livable—for all New Yorkers.

The summit of the Crown Range Road with two prominent Cairn's.
The Crown Range Road is the highest sealed road in New Zealand at 1076 metres above sea level. In 1877 the first tourist trips using horse drawn coaches drove over the pass.
In 2008 the road was sealed. It is now a major tourist route bringing the communities and ski fields of Queenstown and Wanaka closer.
