Shoes for the taking? Nah. At the boat show the marinas ask that you take off your salty/snowing winter footwear before going on board to kick the anchor and check it all out. Boat on right sells for the other side of $100,000.
This guy is a dude. Look at the trouble he's gone to with his hut. The fishing net artfully hung on the wall, the floral green tablecloth and retro tea set, the ship's bell, the picnic basket with colourful thermoses and not to mention THAT pink umbrella. On a freezing morning on the British seaside in Hove near Brighton suddenly the sun felt warmer and a smile seemed easier.
week eleven theme: cravings
I am yearning for summer days. Filled with sunshine, color and fragrance. No place to get to. The kids play happily while I read a book or tend to the gardens. I long for picnics, baseball, bird watching and fresh raspberry daquiries.
(The warmth of this picture is completely an illusion. They were freezing. I upped the color temp. just so I could feel a little warmer looking at this shot!)

With the sudden worm, before the winter storm, I got a special guest from the "Summer"! It was just there behind my curtain, straggling to go out,- but the winter outside was a big surprise!
