Founded 2000 years old Amfora neck, at the moment Amforas neck in Athenes museum. It was great big story.

The bit of field I'm trying to turn into a garden hasn't done much this summer due to lack of water - and I thought the birds had gobbled up the pack of wildflower seeds I threw down in April... The recent rain has proved me wrong. There may not be many of them but they're very pretty!

Despite our wacky weather going from lots of rain to a dry month and now back to lots of rain, this Little Gem magnolia in my yard is blooming away. This one blooms from April through first frost and is a winner!
Sailboat on the Severn River last Sunday. Too windy and rainy for boating this weekend but last weekend was lovely!
The boats moored in the background are YPs (Yard Patrol) used by the Naval Academy students to learn their craft. We often see those out and about as well.
