That’s right guys, I’m back with more Fantastic Four! I know how you all can’t get enough of it, so I couldn’t help but churn out another one for you guys! :)
This one wasn't particularly based off of anything other than the vague Latveria motif. I just wanted to do something a little more villain-centric. Doom was the obvious choice! :P

Marvel's First Family is at it again! This time I built their forever messy lab on the top floor of Willie Lumpkin's favorite stop on the mail route! Check out Patreon this week for a closer look at all the builds here, plus more!

I recently (months ago) picked up some more bootleg figs and was surprised to find that this Galactus knock-off wasn’t completely terrible, so naturally I had to make some posts with him and the rest of the gang! ;)
The Chrysler was inspired by a build by Tobias Brzitwa from here on Flickr, and The Baxter was inspired by a micro-scale “digital build” from the 2013 Lego Marvel Video Game!
Check out Patreon this week to see just how I built the skyline, or how I lit the photoshoot, and even how I edited everything together! Link in the bio!

Well I hate to break it to you but (spoilers for a comic book that came out 60 years ago) the actual story featuring the FF is only four pages plus some sparse panels at the beginning and end of the book. It’s basically a footnote in the story where Spidey’s dealing with some shenanigans and wants to get a job with the gang.
Of course the front door is locked so he’s all like “yeah okay I’ll just sneak in the window instead because that’s totally not weird” to which The Fantastic Four get into a scuffle thinking he’s a villain because he’s kinda dressed like one with the black and red colors and angry eyes.
But like I said, within four pages, they meet him, fight him, befriend him, and he leaves to finish up the main story without them… but that cover sure is neat huh!? :P

Man oh man oh man have I been really excited to share these guys with you! :P
So a few months back I was combing the internet for MuddyRiverMinifigs infamous Fantastic Four figures (Like you do) when the stars aligned and the heavens called out to me as I had finally found a seller of them and OH MY GOODNESS they are everything I had ever hoped for (I was seriously super dumb not to buy them when they were first released) Anyway, magically around the same time I went to my first local comic convention in ten years and also managed to find the ever illusive Ben Grimm Bigfig!
So here I am thinking to myself that it was clearly a sign from beyond this mortal realm… (probably the negative zone or somewhere) That I needed to pursue these guys as a legit project unto themselves.
So here we finally are. Months of shopping around for the perfect parts, hours of tinkering and tampering with the plastic &prints themselves, and a whole lot of patience later :)

Maid of Might Cosplay is the Invisible Woman!
Built for 'The Nick's Superhero Base Contest'.
Put together my Namor after the Hawaiian Girl collectable fig came out, and added the ankle-wings a little later. He's been in suspended animation ever since, so it's nice to bring him out and dust the ol' boy off.

Loosely based on Sideshow's Fantastic Four Diorama, one of my favourite statues... I still hope to own it one day, though I'm going to begin my Sideshow statues with the acquisition of Scarlet Witch Comiquette (see Dr Teng's wonderful review of it here). Eagerly awaiting September.
Anyway, featured here are 6-7" figures of the Fantastic Four. Mr Fantastic and Human Torch (custom haircut and paint) were released by Hasbro. Jessica Alba movie Sue Storm by Toybiz and finally, my latest purchase, Marvel Select Thing.
Must say, it was a disappointment. Despite its sculpt, size and weight, the figure is really a brick. The "base" that came with it was very forgettable as well... Not to mention his right leg broke off while I was posing it for this photoshoot. Sigh... I hope Abomination and Juggy don't turn out like him.
BTW, borrowed an image of the LSB Galactus bust by Sideshow for the back drop.
Playing off the on and off romantic tensions in the comics, Sue Storm gets friendly with a female version of Namor.
