After two successful Animester purchases, I decided to get their crossover with the Grey Raven series to see how it turned out.

So, by this point I have had three Gray Raven figures, and at first I just thought may ArcTech was terrible at getting the thiccness of the ladies. By this point, across three different companies, with three different characters and designs criteria, I've come to realize it isn't the figure makers - the actual source material must have lanky legs.

This particular figure is probably one of the more fancy ones, combining both silicone body parts as well as a soft good outfit. In addition to the figure, there's a few neat accessories, including alternate bangs, three total faceplates, a scabbard, two swords (I think) and a Base/Stand. I think if I actually tried, you can take off the outer shirt, but alas I was too lazy.

Sculpting overall is pretty good, though sadly there are no articulated eyes like with their Thunderbolt Squad series. Mechanical detailing is very nice, and having a larger scale figure gives one that much more physical figure to enjoy it on. The bangs are, unfortunately a bit annoying to deal with, though at least the dynamic ones are nice to look at - the bigger problem with the hair pieces is that the hair pretty much covers the eyes, and from what I've seen of source art the hair is generally parted enough that you always see her right eye.

This also doesn't strike me as one of those characters with very expressive faces, so something like Barbera Red is unfortunately not in the cards either.

So, as the figure isn't fully seamless, the articulation is going to be limited in comparison. Having said that, the articulation is even more restricted than on would, and surprisingly it had nothing to do with the soft good.

I mentioned the hair, and while the back of the hair does move out of the way, overall the hair is bulk and is difficulty to maneuver, which affects head articulation. This is further complicated due to the bulk of the scarf and as mentioned, the lack of eye articulation just seals the deal. Due to the rigid nature of the abdomen section, there's no articulation there, though it should be noted that like Whisky Sour, the Chest and shoulder areas are all seamless. The surprise limiter, however, are the pouches on front of the skirt, which severely limit the the legs ability for forward rotation. Bulk of the leotard at the back restricts backwards leg motion.

Paint Application wise, this is a beautifully painted figure, with the metallic paints being the ones that are the most impressive (like on Barbera Red), though the other applications are quite strong as well. The metallics on the body are harder to make out due to the shirt covering her left arm up, but there's no denying that the scabbard and Red sword look very nice. Decal work is solid as well.

Build Quality wise, as with Barbera Red there are some QC issues with the seamless body, in my case the right hip doesn't like to spread out as far as the left one, though to be fair I feel it's a combination of skeletal and thickness of the silcone skin around the thighs and glutes as this is the only seamless figure i've handled thus far, including the trainwreck that was the Flash Point figure, that actually cannot maintains splits - speaking of the material, I feel that the stuff around the right knee is a bit thin as this is the first time I've actually had the joint pushing out and being very obvious. Shoulders seem alright though the right one appears to be significantly tighter than the left one.

I've found the left knee joint is a tad loose, and causes the figure to collapse when standing though, I think due to weight in general you'll probably want to use a stand for stability. The Red sword doesn't seem to like being held too much and the dynamic bangs like to pop off the face more often than not.

My plan was to get to RSPB Ham Wall for dawn and watch the wildlife come to life. Although I have seen Marsh Harriers hunting over the reed beds, it is very rare to see a successful outcome. This morning around 6am, I spotted a male bird close to the Tor View hide and then watched as the Harrier successfully flushed a moorhen/coot chick from the reeds. The alarm calls from the ducks and other waterfowl was amazing. I assume that a Marsh Harrier chick has a healthy breakfast !

The youth need to have self-belief and take on challenges so as to be successful in this competitive world, Hon Rose Namayanja Nsereko Founder of the Rose Namayanja Foundation has said.

Speaking during the 7th edition of the Annual National Youth Festival at Makerere University freedom square in Kampala, Namayanja urged the youth to build their self confidence that would in turn propel them to reach their full potential.

“Don’t let challenges be the cause of despair but turn that into production. Whatever you’re doing will create change. Don’t worry about it being small, just continue.” Hon Namayanja said

She further called on them to set goals and always strive to be the best in whatever they set their minds on.

“If you don’t have a target, then you can shoot anywhere, goal setting is very important. Set realistic goals and avoid being part of the crowd. If it’s a class or at work, let everyone know that there is this person through your great performance, she said.

On the use of social media, Namayanja encouraged the youth to use the networking platform for the right reasons that can lift their thinking and broaden their knowledge.

” I am not one of the people who will castigate the use of social media. Social media is the in-thing right now but how are you using it? Do you know you can use it for good reasons?” she questioned.

She cited that as a poultry farmer, she used social media to acquire some of the equipment used at her farm, further appealing to the youth to always use the platform for progress.

Namayanja thanked the festival partners for their input in making the occasion a success and pledged on behalf of the foundation to support similar initiatives that bring the youth together for developmental purposes.

“We came here to support and participate in this initiative to add a brick to what the government is doing in changing the lives of the youth and bringing them together. As a foundation, we are trying to use opportunities we have got to get support from elsewhere and use it to empower the youth regardless of their ethnic, religious or political affiliations.” Namayanja elaborated.

She urged the event organizers to consider making the festival a week-long event in order to capture the different issues raised from the different regions of the country.

“The National event should be a culmination of the regional open spaces. Its important to capture the issues raised at the smaller levels because decisions are made at the lower level.” She said.

The Annual National Youth Festival is a multi-stakeholder platform where thousands of young people and youth focused stakeholders converge to celebrate across age and diversity, youth energies, potentials and innovativeness.

The festival ran under the theme; Focusing on Youth Rights, Employment and Peace

Abstract: Plant and pollination have a mutualistic relationship where both parties offer and gain benefits for each other. The plant-pollinator interactions resulted in successful crop pollination in which the plant received pollination services by animal pollinator to increase food production that eventually increase crop economic value. Overall, ecosystem is highly dependent on pollinator thus there is a need to review potential valuation method of crop production and analyse the current understanding of the value of pollination service towards the ecosystem as well as the traits plant offer and benefits that pollinator gain from the relationship. The attractant and rewards highly depending on each other. Plant often able to attract pollinators through traits like the shape, size and colours of flower, deception, scents as well as location. In the meantime, plant would provide a reward for pollinators that visited the flower which includes food from pollen and nectar that contains high nutritional value, energetic rewards to reduce energy cost of survival, protection and shelter against predator and not to forget breeding, oviposition and mating sites inside the flower plant. This review emphasizes the ecological relationship of plant and pollinator that resulting in effective crop pollination if the attractant and incentives are significantly reliant on one another. However, there could be flaws, such as modifications to plant or environmental factors, would affect the rewards supplied and resulting in decrease crop output. With this review and current technological advancements, optimistically deeper investigations in the interaction of pollinator and flowering plant can be conducted and best pollinator management approaches can be established to secure sustainable crops production.

This year has proven to be difficult for a lot of people. Unemployment is up and business profits are down. The Fingal 10KM Road Race was held in Swords, North County Dublin, Ireland on Sunday July 22nd 2012 at 10:00. This is the first running of this event as it is a brand new fixture in the successful annual Dublin Marathon Race Series. The Fingal 10KM is unique in the series that it is being held outside of the Phoenix Park. Three athletic clubs from Fingal ( Clonliffe Harriers, Fingallians and Metro St Brigids ) assisted in organising the event. Revenue generated by the race will be channelled back to these clubs. Support is also provided by Fingal County Council. Overall there was a very large level of participation in the event with almost 5,000 athletes taking to the streets of Swords and roads of surrounding areas.
