The O2 (Millenium) dome at midday. Taken with an ND64 filter which lends some fairly pleasing tones to the overall image, as well as allowing for a longer exposure time (considering the sun is just outside of frame, top center).

I have done very little with this shot! I wasnt sure whether to upload it but its grown on me. You almost have to view it from afar and then the texture of the lighting and dark shades on the branches become apparent and weave their magical spell.
This female Eastern Bluebird peeked out from her birdhouse, just her head visible in the circular opening. Her eye caught the light, making the moment feel especially watchful.
I photographed her in my yard in Arkansas while she was sitting on a clutch of eggs. She stayed mostly hidden but leaned forward just enough for this quick shot.
Female Eastern Bluebirds are less vivid than the males, with softer blue-gray tones and warm brown on the chest. This one was clearly in nesting mode, alert but calm in her wooden box.
This young Mourning Dove nestled quietly in the grass, nearly disappearing into the green. Its soft feathers and calm posture made for a peaceful moment to capture.
I photographed it in my yard in Arkansas, where it seemed to be resting or waiting for a parent nearby. The light was soft and the lawn damp with recent rain.
Mourning Doves are common across much of North America. This fledgling still shows juvenile plumage, with a slightly scruffy look and shorter tail feathers.

A female House Finch perches calmly on a bare branch, framed by soft light and a pale green background. Her streaked plumage blends subtly with the scene.
I photographed her in my Arkansas yard, where finches often stop by the feeders or rest on nearby twigs. This one seemed particularly at ease.
Unlike the bright red males, females have a more muted appearance with fine brown streaks and a slightly rounded body. Their gentle coloring makes them surprisingly photogenic in quiet settings like this.
