A shot taken today of the Russian Submarine on the river Medway.
I stood here for a whole hour to capture a shot I liked the look of.
I have decided this is the one I will use.

August's Challenge - Under The Sea
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed up to the sun
Till we found a sea of green

USS Requin, a Tench-class submarine, was the only ship of the United States Navy to be named after the requin, French for shark. Since 1990 it has been a museum ship at The Carnegie Science Center in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

I took this at the maritime museum in Fremantle. I was surprised to see it there. It is an Oberon class submarine that was used in the first world war70s-90s. It is surrounded by old cranes and has a patina of colour covering it from being exposed to sea spray. Remarkable to see
-This is a macro of a small 1" slice of nicely yellowed dried banana.
Rear and side illuminated in carbonated water, this was highly enjoyable shoot for this weeks Macro Mondays theme "Beatles", HMM! :)
