In the 1860’s photographers were looking for a way to boost their business. Because of this, they thought of a way to make the subjects appear twice in the photograph – thus the birth of double exposure. In the images presented here, you can see that the subject is seen twice in the photo but having a different position. To create this type of image, the photographer would shoot the subject in one position and then the subject must move swiftly to another position before the second image is taken. The photographers also used rotating lens caps and special plates to come up with these double-exposed images.

Vintage Classic Car, not sure what kind - Linglestown, PA. - One of the passengers is probably an aunt.
This photo was taken at the very end of N. Mountain Rd., just beyond the Linglestown Square. My grandfather's house is to the far right, out of the photo. It is still there.
Not sure what the church-like building behind the hood is. I remember going to suppers there.
The large building to the left was a residence and was actually moved to a more open spot beyond the town and towards the mountains.
My first car a 1986 Talbot Samba Style, which I brought for a £130. Photo taken on Holiday in Newquay around June/ July 2003. Sorry for the poor quality!
It was our travel trip to join in the festival of spill water of Chinese activity that took place by the photography society of Asia city union ,on April 15 ,we visited the騰沖boundary city of China, before the dinner time , we went into the Chinese cultural zoom called玉泉園 , there were old Chinese style building , shop , street also the local original people傈傈 race dressed their beautiful tranditional costume stood at restuarent door to welcome , all the scenery was interesting
