To talk with continued involuntary repetition of sounds

Time keeps on spinning by but better than the sudden stop of time. Better to have the wobbly stuttering end than the abrupt finish. Have a fantastic moment in time!

"You fooled the skies with black flame spells.

How life is given without being overthrown.

And all the words of the madmen that were our words,

the magic with drugs in the prodigal silence.

You mourned with love naked and drunk

because you had accounts with the immortals.

You stuttered the arias of an opera defeated,

a provincial student in front of two oracles.

What did you envy, what did you want, the glorious Paris.

In any case, the world is full of people everywhere.

Claiming miracles given by hashish

and illusions of those living in prisons.

And one night you dressed up as Moon Hamlet,

you turned off the stage lights with a bang.

And you started solving riddles and riddles.

an art and an age of old and dark."

🎧The Hamlet of the Moon

There was something not right on that last photograph of Sonia I was looking at last night. She was heading down to a lower deck of the ship, but why? That deck was locked. What was she after? Or someone was after her? I scrutinized that photo but I came up with nothing. Nada. Zero. I could not make any sense of it all. So I kept searching through her photo files and followed her down to those stairs. I'd go where she's been...

Searching through many photos I found this one. There was something about this photo. Something was not right. I couldn't tell really, but it was there. Just hadn't pinpointed it yet. I decided to show this to Sonia and see what she would say, how would she react. Maybe point me to some direction. Several weeks had passed after the ship incident after all and she was supposedly all good by now. Yet the most strange thing happened. When she saw this picture, she turned pale, curled her big black eye, and lost focus like she had seen a ghost! She back stepped and in a stuttering voice she said..."She's there! Watch out for her. She's there, can't you see? She's coming. Run!". That was it all. In a matter of seconds, her battery depleted and she faded away, just like that night when I found her hanging from the ceiling. So there was someone. Someone after her or so it seemed.

Now it all started to make some sense. She was running from someone that night. She was trying to hide, pretending she became a surveillance camera. I mean, that was all her fooling around with her crazy games, the surveillance camera thing. And that night I assumed it was her playing games as usual, but in reality she was being hunted after she left our deck and had used her crazy game to hide herself, in the presence of what she considered a threat! No, not of what, but rather of whom! Before she fades out, she said "she"... Who was that "she"? Where did "she" come from? And why Sonia was so afraid of her? Why would she run away in the first place? To get away of her alright, but why? Too many questions unanswered still...

I knew I had to dig deeper. But now I had a lead. And now, I could see the "she" in that photo. Or at least what I thought was the "she"... Gently I picked Sonia up from the desk, I changed her battery and put her back in her camera bag. There was no need to wake her up at the moment. She needed to rest. And I needed to do some more research. I turned on my computer and went to that searching page. I needed to look up some info for a certain ship... Yes, I had work to do and some more photos to check. But I knew I was closing in now. I also knew I had to get this done and finish with, whatever or whoever was haunting Sonia in her dreams, causing instantaneous malfunctioning and total black outs. I was her only chance before she had to go under full disassemble and probably recycling procedure. I was her last line of defense. After all, like Dorothea Lange once said for the camera, she was the one who were teaching me to see without a camera all this time we were together. Now then, I had to see! See the "She" and see this through...

She flashed a picture just to remember me better

Small dove with a dark brown back and pale face and underparts. In flight, the wings show rufous patches. Found in rainforest, gallery forest, thickets, moist woodland, and plantations. Shy understory species that is most often seen on the ground. Song is a long series of hollow “hoo” notes with a stuttering start and a long, even end. Separated from wood-doves by its darker back and paler face and underparts. (eBird)

Range-restricted flowerpecker of the Cardamom Mountains in southwestern Cambodia and far eastern Thailand. Adult male is dark blue above and pale creamy white below, with a black stripe down the center of the belly. Female is much plainer, brownish-olive above and pale buff below; lacks the bright white throat of Plain and female Scarlet-backed Flowerpeckers. Gives a stuttering metallic trill, as well as dry tick notes. Formerly treated as a subspecies of Fire-breasted Flowerpecker. (eBird)

---------------

We were lucky to find this flowerpecker since its range is so narrow. Khao Yai seems to be one of locations where this little bird is usually seen. She had been hunting insects along the branches and was sampling the fruits behind her.

Tiny, plump flycatcher found in the understory of the subtropical zone in the Andes, especially around bamboo. Distinctive plumage with yellow belly, white throat, rufous crown, black border around cheek, and bold yellow wingbars. Some populations show rufous wash on cheeks and a reduced black border. Sexes similar. Usually seen in singles or pairs, inconspicuously flitting around the understory of forest and edge. Listen for stuttering calls. (eBird)

"The dapper Spotted Sandpiper makes a great ambassador for the notoriously difficult-to-identify shorebirds. They occur all across North America, they are distinctive in both looks and actions, and they're handsome. They also have intriguing social lives in which females take the lead and males raise the young. With their richly spotted breeding plumage, teetering gait, stuttering wingbeats, and showy courtship dances, this bird is among the most notable and memorable shorebirds in North America... Female Spotted Sandpipers sometimes practice an unusual breeding strategy called polyandry, where a female mates with up to four males, each of which then cares for a clutch of eggs. One female in Minnesota laid five clutches for three males in a month and a half. This odd arrangement does not happen everywhere and often they are monogamous, with the female pitching in to help a little."

In my eyes

Indisposed

In disguises no one knows

Hides the face

Lies the snake

And the sun in my disgrace

Boiling heat

Summer stench

Neath the black, the sky looks dead

Call my name

Through the cream

And I'll hear you scream again

Black hole sun

Won't you come

And wash away the rain?

Black hole sun

Won't you come

Won't you come

Won't you come

Stuttering

Cold and damp

Steal the warm wind, tired friend

Times are gone

For honest men

Sometimes, far too long for snakes

In my shoes

Walking sleep

In my youth, I pray to keep

Heaven send

Hell away

No one sings like you anymore

Black hole sun

Won't you come

And wash away the rain?

Black hole sun

Won't you come

Won't you come

Black hole sun

Won't you come

And wash away the rain?

Won't you come (Black hole sun, black hole sun)

Won't you come (Black hole sun, black hole sun)

Won't you come (Black hole sun, black hole sun)

Won't you come? (Black hole sun, black hole sun)

Hang my head

Drown my fear

Till you all just disappear

A rich, russet-and-gray bird with bold streaks down its white chest, the Song Sparrow is one of the most familiar North American sparrows. It’s one of the first species you should suspect if you see a streaky sparrow in an open, shrubby, or wet area. If it perches on a low shrub, leans back, and sings a stuttering, clattering song, so much the better. We had a beautiful and sunny day, a much needed break from the cold and gray rain we have been experiencing.

this bird landed on my freshly mowed lawn and started this display behavior of raising its wings in a stutter-step fashion. It landed on the garden bed, the mower, the neighbor's house, etc, and repeated this display for several minutes.

From allaboutbirds.org: The Northern Mockingbird frequently gives a "wing flash" display, where it half or fully opens its wings in jerky intermediate steps, showing off the big white patches. No one knows why it does this, but it may startle insects, making them easier to catch. On the other hand, it doesn’t often seem to be successful, and different mockingbird species do this same display even though they don’t have white wing patches.

Brandon: Well, the first thing Pinkus wanted to address today was the rumors that he would be replaced by the SHADES. He said the possibility never existed, that when he was in his coma he could hear everything and knew absolutely he would be fine.

He also suggested there had been a few unscrupulous individuals trying take his spot while he was hospitalized and that his band would never even consider it. He also said that he's got the unnamed persons on his shit list and if they wanted to test how well or not well he is they should try and see what happens.

"Red-naped Sapsuckers are industrious woodpeckers with a taste for sugar. They drill neat little rows of holes in aspen, birch, and willow to lap up the sugary sap that flows out. The presence of sap wells is a good indication that they are around, but so are their harsh wailing cries and stuttered drumming."

I feel,

Feel the,

The pain,

Pain of,

Of the,

The Lie,

As I,

Sweat beaded on my brow as I crested another rise. There, tantalizingly close, was the British Lookout – a jagged silhouette against the azure sky, three grueling hours and 1,000 meters (3,281 feet) further on. The challenge pulsed in the thin air, a promise whispered by the wind.

But the return wouldn't be a mere retracement. Dawn's light, painting the eastern giants, would bathe the valley in a symphony of shadow and splendor. This wouldn't be just a descent; it would be a front-row seat to nature's grand unveiling.

The breathtaking photos from the British Lookout will have to wait – a treat for the 21st. But right now, I'm speechless by the panorama unfolding before me. Did I stutter? Shocked is more like it.

This vista captures the true essence of the French Valley. To my north, the colossal Cerro Paine Grande dwarfs its neighbors, its icy flanks contrasting with the French Glacier clinging to its western slopes – a sight unseen from Refugio Francés. Framing the valley head is a cirque carved by time, its walls adorned with a pantheon of giants: Paine Grande (a staggering 3,050 meters or 10,007 feet), the twin-peaked Cerro Castillo cradling its glaciers, Olguin e los Perros (a mere 1,421 meters or 4,662 feet) compared to its brethren, the pointed Cerro Los Gemelos (1,998 meters or 6,555 feet), the menacing Cerro Aguja de los Quiquichos (1,703 meters or 5,587 feet), and the squat El Tambor (a modest 230 meters or 754 feet). These behemoths stand sentinel over the eastern reaches of the valley, their imposing presence a constant reminder of nature's raw power.

SONG: WHEN I SEE YOU by Fantasia

LYRICS:

I put your picture on my mirror

Start to blush when somebody says your name

In my stomach there's a pain

See you walk in my direction

I go the other way

I start to stutter when I speak

Try to stand but my knees go weak

What's happening to me?

In the dark, can you tell me what it means?

I lay my head on my pillow

Staring out the window

Wish on a star for a sign

Is the reason why

You're always on my mind

When you come around, I get shy

When I see you, when I see you

Never know when you might walk by

So I gotta be right on time

When I see you, when I see you

I scribble X's and O's in my notebook

Checking how my hair and nails look

I feel myself in the zone

I get nervous when you call

So I say I'm not home

I see your face

When I hear my favorite song

Should I send a email at home

You're the number one topic on the phone

I wonder if you know or do you have a clue?

I lay my head on my pillow

You got me staring out the window

Wish on a star for a sign

What's the reason why

You're always on my mind

When you come around, I get shy

When I see you, when I see you

Never know when you might walk by

So I gotta be right on time

When I see you, when I see you

Something now is taking over me

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

I'm not gonna run now

Just gonna stand here and see

Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh, yeah

You're always on my mind

When you come around, I get shy

When I see you, when I see you

Never know when you might walk by

So I gotta be right on time

When I see you, when I see you

You're always on my mind

When you come around, I get shy

When I see you, when I see you

Never know when you might walk by

So I gotta be right on time

“To linger anew

behind bars of birdsong,

dangling high and on display

in the cage of a memory.

So, has flight been clipped.

So punctuated has been sounding.

So. Score so. Tremble thus,

then less tremble, stilling,

fitfully to rest. Colon.

Here, then here else,

solfege across modulations.

Palm psalms and moth motifs

clap to burn bright, hand-flutter

and arpeggio across a blink,

to play a span, to transit a sonata,

from stutter-bee to shutter-sea,

as saying letters the skin, transported,

just more baggage above comportment.

I have lived

the dark betweens.

Everything I have ever seen

has been through

the murky windows

of way stations.”

Yellow-belled Sapsuckers perch upright on trees, leaning on their tails like other woodpeckers. They feed at sapwells—neat rows of shallow holes they drill in tree bark. They lap up the sugary sap along with any insects that may get caught there. Sapsuckers drum on trees and metal objects in a distinctive stuttering pattern.

I wish I could say the finch wept for me alone

from his linden branch, but he sang for the whole

neighborhood, as twilight rose on his Addio L' Amore

for some fickle Violetta gone nest hopping,

a lament so rending each trill seemed

to shatter his glass heart and the baritones

along the quay fell silent,

and whatever jubilation normally erupts never did,

not while the finch grieved and the sky filled

with pinpricks of light. I wish I could have stroked

his chest, his twin, stuttering lungs, and consoled all

who listened on our stumps and lonely boles,

remembering our own farewells to love: dark eyes,

sleek feathers, sweet wine of those who peck us blind

and flutter off. So sing, little Rodolfo, sad

Chansonnier, and let us cry with you in fellowship,

and let us cry for our mutual folly, for love which

evaporates, for passion which devours us, for

emptiness, yes, warble a note or two for the pouring

out of ourselves into others, for this dusk which

has turned the streets vermilion, for this cafe

lighting itself against the night.

I thought this kinda looks like a marble space ship traveling from left to right through space. Hence the title.

It's three cats-eye marbles resting on a concave mirror, photographed in a totally dark room with just a small flashlight held close and shining straight down on the marbles from above. I rotated the image 90 degrees to the right. The oblong look of the reflections at left was caused by the concave mirror, as were the stuttering reflections at frame left.

***Professor Smith opened the book and started to read***

His voice captivated me, soothing my mind and transporting me into a magical realm of warriors and fantasy. He was enchanting as well, in the way he held the book and fingered through the pages. Each turning made me crave the next and soon I found I could no longer focus on the words he spoke. His sound and movements were all that mattered. All I craved. When he looked up at me and smiled my breath caught in my throat. Heat rising quickly to my cheeks, the sensation warming me. I could not look away. My gaze fell on his lips and the sly smile that rested there. Standing he strode quickly towards me. He leaned in slowly, stopping so close that I could feel his breath on my lips, he asked, "Did you not enjoy the story. It would be a shame if I bored you." My eyes locked on his. I flicked my tongue to moisten my lower lip nervously. His eyes burning into my soul. I stuttered, "Yes Sir, I mean no Sir, I mean." Silencing me he leaned in crushing his lips against mine. I forgot the world as I pressed myself against him. ***Slapping the book shut, Professor Smith tilted his head and looked at me with concern..."Damon are you listening?" Laughing and blushing I brushed the daydream aside..."Yes Sir." I replied. "Intently."...*** The End <3

Even in some darkest moments there is light. Don't let others be that darkness in your life, let the light shine in.

"Only he who has seen better days and lives to see better days again knows their full value." ~Mark Twain~

“Learn to light a candle in the darkest moments of someone’s life. Be the light that helps others see; it is what gives life its deepest significance.”

Thank you to ~Charles~

for helping pick the song and making me remember the good old days ♥

🎼: Rainy Day People ~ Gordon Lightfoot~~

✈️ : Witherwood

Rainy day people always seem to know when it's time to call

Rainy day people don't talk, they just listen 'til they've heard it all

Rainy day lovers don't lie when they tell 'ya they've been down like you

Rainy day people don't mind if you're cryin' a tear or two

If you get lonely, all you really need is that rainy day love

Rainy day people all know there's no sorrow they can't rise above

Rainy day lovers don't love any others, that would not be kind

Rainy day people all know how it hangs on a piece of mind

Rainy day lovers don't lie when they tell you, they've been down there too

Rainy day people don't mind if you're cryin' a tear or two

Rainy day people always seem to know when you're feeling blue

High-stepping stutters who land in the gutters sometimes need one too

Take it or leave it, or try to believe it

If you've been down too long

Rainy day lovers don't hide love inside, they just pass it on

Rainy day lovers don't hide love inside, they just pass it on

22nd October 2020:

Once Graham had taken Rufus for his first walk and done the odds and ends he needed doing I was out. It was sunny, not too cold and there wasn't a howling gale blowing.

I went down towards town at first and then back up towards the sports stadium. I was on a fungus hunt. Found quite a lot, but none of the one I really wanted. I wanted red!!

On my way home I walked on the other side of the road and there tucked in between some hydrangeas was my prize. I've never actually seen any before, which was an even better bonus.

Other photos to upload, but I may make a collage of them ...

"I don't even have to question if it's real or not

You're right there, all times

Even when my car broke down in the parking lot

You were there

You didn't stutter or hesitate

You come to my rescue once again.

Like that

You always answer calls

When I call, you come

You always answer my calls

When I call (you always come)

You always answer my calls,

When I call, you come

You always answer my calls

When I call (you always come)." - Robert Glasper w/Jill Scott ♫

Ethereal song rings through breeding grounds in northern spruce forest; found in thickets and forest understory during migration, when it tends to be shy and hard to find. To distinguish from other Catharus thrushes, note very faint eyering and plain gray face. Small bill with yellow base. Grayer face than Swainson's Thrush and lacks buffy eyering. Nearly identical to Bicknell's Thrush, which shows slight reddish wash to plumage. Song is a stuttering series of descending phrases with a notably wiry tone. Call a high-pitched, piercing "pzeeer."
