A combination of close-up subjects used for by macro photography day at Copped Hall.

A good place to be in the heat of the day on 9th September. Subjects included locusts, fungi and carnivorous plants - good time had by all I think.

We had a private tour of the unaltered Jacobean house which dates from 1629 followed by an exploration of the grounds and then a look around the current exhibitions.

Natural art is displayed in every nook and cranny.

Dried seedheads, grasses and sculptural wood abound
