"First Photo - This photo was taken on the 24th of December while out on a short hike with my host parents and our dogs in Fetsund Norway. We had just gotten a fresh snow of a couple of inches and it was timed perfectly to where the sun was setting behind us (even though it was only about 3:15pm). All in all, it made for a great hike on a chilly Christmas Eve.

Second Photo - This photo was taken whilst with my Local Contact family at their cabin in Kongsberg Norway. Their cabin is located at a ski resort so their son and I decided to hike the ski hill and on our way back down found this old building that was used during the silver mining times in that area." - Submitted by Lars Best, U.S. to Norway 2022-23
