USAC Germany: German Language, and German/European Studies in Lüneburg
This photo was taken at the “Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe.” Interpreters say that the designer Peter Eisenman created these stones at different heights to create a child like happiness when going through it. My study abroad friends and I enjoyed the history and excitement that Berlin is filled with.

Costa Rica: Spanish Language and Culture
During one of our excursion we were told that we were zip lining and I was okay for a one time zip through the woods, but what we were actually doing was a canopy tour. Extremely nervous to slide from treetop to treetop.

AIFS Study Abroad in Rome: Semester or Academic Year
This trip was the first time I had ever travelled internationally alone, and the first time I realized I was capable of doing it.
Despite being one of the smaller European countries, Hungary has many opportunities to offer to international students. Over the years, the country has become a sought after hub for students willing to study abroad.

Urbanization, Globalization, Health and Sustainability in a Global City: The Shanghai
Though not a picture of me, I was proud to snap this shot of the many UNC Charlotte students who volunteered to teach weekly English lessons at a Shanghai elementary school presenting the 5th grade teachers who hosted us with a 49ers basketball jersey. Covered in signatures and messages of thanks, we hope that they remember us and our lessons and games of “Heads Up, Seven Up” fondly.
