A fundraising event: Studs and Suds, Oregon Bears Car Wash and Dunk Tank!
Mr Gay Oregon 2007 in the tank.
Work in progress on the TV for the living room.
With Teller for scale, here's a view of the TV wall from the living room face. The 65" diagonal screen will be centered on that pair of studs directly behind the ladder, with the electronics cabinet spanning the full width below the TV. We believe the front door misses the cabinet by at least a fingertip. The TV looks low on the wall, but our primary seating is in the sunken area which makes up for that.
Looking past the wall, it is clear that I still have some work to go before we can plaster, paint, and re-floor the future home office space that was the sewing room. But we don't really expect to do that room until after we've finished the living room side.
A portrait series of my beautiful old Studer tape recorder, just before I sold it. Inside electronics.
Look at the nice FQ included in the package, with good selvage ;)
There were also German chocolate (already eaten)
First impressions up on the blog: www.44bikes.com/terrene-johnny-5-wazia-4-6-first-impressi...
As with the earlier hummingbird photo, the focus of the spiral was very slightly to the left of the bird's head and I modified it to better centre on the face. The rest of the spiral has some correspondence with the fence.
What we have here is a 3 light Ghetto Garage Studio. 1 Tripod, 1 Stool, 1 Army storage box covered with a black sheet, 1 backdrop using some curtains I purchased from Wal-Mart $22.00, X-Rite Colorchecker, Westcott Reflector on the right side, 1 Desk lamp shining on the background, 2 Continues Lights with 2 black and silver reflective umbrellas. Oh and my Canon Rebel XTI.
