A school we visited with @larynex @bobzeella in eastern Samar on a separate island called Maliwaliw. They donated a bag containing money, medicine, food, water purification tablets, time, and love to this school...Kids were learning English so we jumped in and read the board along with them... The water tower at Taliesin and a small cottage built for and by students. Frank did not design this one, but clearly the students were paying attention. You can see the tiny balcony that gives the tower its name - the Romeo & Juliet Windmill.

The SOAR program aims to help ease the transition of incoming first-year students and their families. Participants have an opportunity to learn about academic expectations, resources, learning strategies, and common student transition issues, as well as meet upper-year students, tour a residence room, and have their questions and concerns addressed.

BCIT New Media Program. Part of what makes this program so unique is that it is so far ranging in it's application that it draws in a variety of people, all from different walks of life. Team work is a huge part of this program and it is always interesting to see how different people collaborate together.

Last week, the DALI (Digital Arts Leadership and Innovation) Lab opened its end-of-term showcase to the public for the first time, allowing students to talk about and test their works-in-progress. (Photo by Joshua Renaud ’17)
