Whilst this shot of the Tietgen Dormitory in Orestad does have a whole load of curves going on I do think the bright green seats in the foreground compete a bit too much with the main subject.

When the spring rains come, Dunedin turns mild and wet. I think it brings out the Scottish character very dramatically, and it's a good time to start photographing city scapes because of the added gloss everywhere. These images were taken in the student areas around the Polytechnic and university. I hope you appreciate that I got really, really drenched snapping these images. Haptchoo.

The picture was actually taken from behind the windshield of my car. My husband was driving me back from a lunch date. I took the picture as we were driving on University Drive past the Stangle Building heading toward the main campus. .

31 October 2013. Corner of Cartwright Gardens and Burton Place, Bloomsbury. Built 1809-1811.
The western side of Cartwright Gardens is two parts of a crescent bisected by Burton Place. Both parts of Cartwright Gardens are Listed as Grade II by English Heritage for their special architectural or historic interest. These buildings and those in the nearby streets are by the architect/developer/builder James Burton. (Cartwright Gardens was originally called Burton Crescent.)
Like many Georgian houses in central London the lowest storey (of five) is a semi-basement. ___________________________________
