with a 3/8 inch drill bit, drill a hole for the lighting stud. Using a 3/8 inch bolt and a couple washers attached a lighting stud to the metal plate.

What can you tell me about his manner of dress? He looks well appointed but a bit unsure of himself. My scan did not catch it, but a support is sticking out from behind his left foot. At this time the subjects were given stands, much like a coat rack, to lean upon so they would not move during the long exposure necessary to get the photograph.
I place this at 1870.

Today I received my anything goes quilt from my STUD august partner Cathie! She sent some very nice extra goodies that I will take a picture tomorrow and post but I was anxious to get this up so everyone could see it! Thanks Cathie!
